I saw this idea on Pinterest, and thought it was so clever that I had to share it with the Refupeas! washi tape on embroidery hoopI bought a large embroidery hoop today at A C Moore for under $2, and can't wait to put my washi tape on it. It'll look like a washi wreath! I don't have too much washi, so this will be perfect storage space for me. I'm planning on hanging it on my wall near where I scrap. my embroidery hoop & sad little washi collectionI guess I need to do a little washi shopping, huh. Haha. Funny how big storage makes ya wanna do big shopping.

I just used the inside ring of an embroidery hoop, for a mobile, now something to do with the outside ring!
Thanks for sharing!

What a great idea. I have an old hoop from my embroidery days.
(I laughed when I saw your photo - you need more washi!)
Thanks for sharing.

I'd need about four of those for my washi. And if I ever get tired of paper tape, I'd have four embroidery hoops.

I love great storage ideas as much as I love the paper and embellies. I keep mine in a box from Michael's. I put two saw blades on the front of the rows (behind the black and white tape) so I can cut the tape easily. This box is now full and I have stated a second one. www.scrapbook.com/galleries/399295/view/3875959/-1/0/0.html

Oh, that's a cute idea! Too bad my collection has grown soooooo much over the past 3 years. I currently store my tapes in plastic containers.

That is a great idea. I bought those Jetmax washi holders from Michael's a year or so back, but those filled up quickly, LOL. I have an overflow problem now!

Ohhhh, I can totally relate to your overflow problem, lol. I'm constantly rearranging and reorganizing my tools and supplies. I try to leave some space to grow, but my supplies keep winning.

I don't 'get' washi tape:
1. it comes in ginormous lengths 2. isn't ribbon prettier?

I don't 'get' washi tape: 1. it comes in ginormous lengths 2. isn't ribbon prettier? 1. I'd rather too much than not enough. 2. Sometimes ribbon is prettier, but washi is so darn easy! Pull off roll & stick. The end. No unraveling. No scissors to cut it even. It just rips right off neatly. And no glueing it down. It just sticks where you want it. And if you place it wrong? No prob. Just gently pull up & reapply. Easy peasy.

I love to put washi tape on white paper and then punch out shapes with the washi tape. It also makes great banners.

I have the WRMK washi dispenser in a decorative hat box. The loose rolls of washi around the dispenser have multiplied, and the embroidery hoop was just the right thing to organize them. Thanks for sharing the tip!
