I am ramping up my DISTRESS oxide ink collection and really enjoying playing and combining colors. I have a number of greens, and a handful of reds/pinks/yellows/neutrals and a couple of muted blues - like speckled egg. I'd love to add 2+ blues that people love as well as any other colors that people use over and over  . Not a purple girl. Thanks! |

Tumbled Glass has my heart. It's super versatile in terms of colour (+ tint/tone/shade) associations and vibrant but not too bright.
Two (non blue) most used Oxide colours are probably Cracked Pistachio because I got this a long time ago and for some reason, I keep going back to it despite being more of a muted colours gal (it oxides beautifully!), and Tattered Rose. Both are on the soft but still vibrant side.

I also like tumbled glass for my light blue, great for skies. For a darker blue I have blueprint sketch but I would really like chipped sapphire for a deeper dark blue for blending night skies. I don't have it and haven't seen it in person but prize ribbon seems to be a really good true blue. But if you really like speckled egg you might want to go with more muted blues like faded jeans - it really depends on your palette. I like the look of the newer colors kitsch flamingo and salvaged patina in blends but they're just my kind of colors, bright and clear. Your mileage may vary  The colors that make your heart happy are probably the ones you'll get the most use from. |

The blues are my favorite and it's so hard to narrow down the "must haves" for me, but I choose tumbled glass, peacock feathers, and chipped sapphire.

Tumbled Glass is a must have. Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire are others I use frequently.

Agree with others on Tumbled Glass. Other blues I love are Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, & Broken China. I'm personally not a fan of Blueprint Sketch because I struggle to make it work with most of the other colors in my go-to palette. I use a lot of blues and greens so I pretty much like all the others.

Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Salvaged Patina are my faves. I have them all and love nearly all of them. The only ones that have not see a lot of use are the purples.
