He was actually seen the next town over from me. Everyone is talking about it because he’s massive.

Aww, "It may be doomed to perpetually wander" is just so ominous, and tugging at my anthropomorphic heart strings. I saw a bald eagle in real life (not in captivity) for the first time this year. It was huge and so amazing and honestly, magical ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I envy people who see them all the time where they live!

We have them on our reservoir and I love seeing them. Always takes my breath away.

"Oh, lonesome me"
Searching....
*** In our very busy suburban area we have several hawks. I have seen one close, but still no idea of which species. To watch them fly is wonderful.

Kind of sad for him.
There were two bald eagles in a tree at the bottom of my street yesterday. Just hanging out by the river. I got goosebumps. Unfortunately I didn't have my phone with me, and when I went back they had left.
We had a pair of nesting red-tailed hawks in our yard for a few years. It was so much fun to watch them teaching the babies to fly and hunt.
