That sounds like a lovely (and reasonable) haul, Chinagirl828. That sounds like a very well-considered shopping trip, especially given that you are far away and probably need to strategize what you buy to maximise the shipping. And it sounds like you've been doing well making a dent in your stash I played the add to cart, remove from cart game a lot before hitting buy on this order and I feel good about what I've purchased, it's just the exchange rate makes it feel like not a whole lot for the money spent. I also noticed tonight while playing in my paper drawer that I have an actual gap in it. It's only 1cm of space (just under 1/2" for the imperial peas), but given it was stuffed to the gills it feels incredibly roomy. The entire drawer is only 8cm deep (a little bit over 3") so I'm sure you can understand my excitement!

I have a bit of a dilemma. I just sold $562 of scrappy stuff at a scrappy tag sale. Only “problem” is I don’t get the cash. I have 5 weeks to spend it at the LSS. I got rid of a lot of stuff I no longer use/want. My room was looking a bit better. Now I need to bring $562 worth of stuff into the room. Kind of defeats the purpose of purging. I did get some of the Sherbet collection because I love the colors & style. I would love a Brother Scan & Cut but they don’t sell that & won’t order it. Any ideas? Ugh, that's frustrating... A machine would be your best bet but it doesn't sound like that's going to happen I guess my advice would be to decide how much you would pay to have clear space. That's the amount you could consider leaving unspent if it comes down to it. Buying things that are durable and useful would be best, consumable essentials next, gifts for others if that makes sense in your life. But it may come down to choosing between buying a bunch of stuff you don't want/need and feeling annoyed that you took 2 steps forward and then 2 steps back or leaving money on the table and viewing that as a purchase of space. I'm sure you don't want to do that knowing you were already selling stash at a loss (sunk cost, but still...) but you could also consider it a payment for keeping a LSS in business.

Given how I’m currently feeling, I like the idea of not spending all of it & supporting my LSS. I will definitely pick up supplies for holiday cards & replace cardstock colors I’ve used up. I really don’t want to back track on hard won success in purging. I also feel so much better using up what I have. I’d be doing the happy dance to get rid of a centimeters worth of space in my paper like Chinagirl!

That sounds like a lovely (and reasonable) haul, Chinagirl828. I hope you enjoy the Spectrum Sherbet--it is such a beautiful line and KikiPea has posted some beautiful layouts with it on Instagram. I split the embellishments with a friend, but now I am thinking I may need to grab a few more before they sell out. I am going to be scrapbooking a bit with a friend this weekend. So far I have one layout planned with the original Simple Stories I am and an old Kaisercraft line, as well as one with an old MME line. Hopefully I will get more done than that. It feels really good to dig into the old stash and use it! Aww thank you so much for the shoutout! I am truly loving the 49 and Market collection. It’s gorgeous and so much fun to play with. I’ll be participating in Vicki Boutin’s Spectrum Sherbet crop this weekend, and I can’t wait to see her ideas on how to use it!

Can’t use it on gift cards or classes or special orders. I really don’t need anything now. Staying frozen has been my goal for the year. I really struggled with it every month but overall was doing pretty well. And now that I’ve got so much to spend I’ve settled into being frozen. The plates are a good idea. I’ve got plenty of copics, but could definitely use refills for my favorites. Thanks for your help. Please keep ideas coming! Bummer about not being able to use it for special orders. Does your LSS carry any tools or organizational items you could use? I'm thinking of the Avery Elle storage pockets, Totally Tiffany bags, media mat, daubers. ink blending brushes? Maybe a tool you wanted to try like a gel press? I would be hard pressed to spend that much at my LSS, but it would be fun to try.

If it came down to it, I’d buy 100 packs of enamel dots. I use those on every project.

Frozen for the Summer. I am not going to set foot (virtual or literal) in a scrapbook store for June, July or August. That is my goal. I essentially spent my summer scrapbook budget and then some on snapping up all the Pinkfresh I could find. oof. But I am delighted, and cannot wait for it to come in the mail. I love this idea. I’m definitely freezing for June. We’ll see if I can manage July and August too!

I just signed myself up to make red white and blue cards for charity even though I have almost no red white and blue stash. (check out the pinned donation thread post here on the card board if you want to join in - they need lots of cards!) Great excuse to buy a bunch of stuff. gah! I tried to find a line between splurging and being moderate but we'll see if I overdid it. I am going to do my best to use it quickly and well and contribute a lot of cards so the purchase is worthwhile. I threw in a star wreath die that wasn't too expensive and can be used for all manner of holidays so I'm going to make some quick samples for Christmas cards when it arrives to make sure I remember that justification. And if I sit down this week before the new supplies arrive and use up something else to make space then I'll feel better about being extravagant. I'm committing to you all that I'm going to empty one folder of supplies - the Bloom St leftovers, I think.

Congratulations hmp ! That is a huge sale. I didn't sell nearly that much, but did get a couple hundred out. I'm in the same boat and I need to spend it at the store. Thankfully mine is just saved as a credit and I don't have to use it right away. I spent some on a birthday collection as I had depleted my birthday supplies. I plan to save the rest to use later this year. I totally get the feeling that once you have purged it, you don't really want to bring a lot back in just for the sake of bringing it in. I do know that even if I spent it all on paper, I would still be bringing in less than I sold, and it would be stuff I would be more likely to use. I hope you can find something you want!
