I'm doing really good. I did buy a new Wink of Stella (glitter brush pen) yesterday because mine ran out. Consumables like that are OK in my freeze. I haven't shopped since Dec 6th. That might be a record for me.

January is almost over! How has everyone been doing with their freeze? No purchases here and lots of creating. I’m really pleased with my progress so far.

January is almost over! How has everyone been doing with their freeze? I bought black cardstock and 2 albums but nothing 'fun' and 'exciting' - I had run completely out of black cardstock, didn't even have scraps. And I've been doing loads of pages so I'm really happy there also. Planning to keep going in February

I have not bought a thing! I think I’m up to 13 pages and going to a weekend crop. Everything is packed. Don’t need a blessed thing!

Being frozen has gone better than I expected. The only thing I’ve purchased in 2022 is ATG adhesive rolls.
I was able to use a significant amount of miscellaneous die cuts/stickers and the majority of a 6x6 paper pack to create a bunch of cards this month. It’s not any kind of a dent in my overall stash, but I could see a noticeable decrease in the amount of supplies from when I pulled them to use to when I put them away. That makes me happy!

My frost is going well. I’m far under the limit I set for myself - I bought one stamp (on sale) at Elle’s Studio, and that was going to be it until SG release some Cocoa Vanilla Merry & Bright I had missed last year, so I picked up the small pack.
I do have a cart full of preorder CV No Limits at ACOT, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. But that is a must-have for me and perfect for my teenager (and for me!). It’s so hard to find product without pink that isn’t super themed or little boy. I do have a few other items thrown in, but I’ve been whittling that down to only what will complement my existing stash.

I have to confess that l thawed & bought a "must have” stamp & die set & a few miscellaneous consumables. I did have a gift card but went over that amount. This weekend l created my “.must have" cards and they were not the holy grail after all. A good reminder to myself. Better goals for Feb!

January is almost over! How has everyone been doing with their freeze? Really well!😁 Other than photo prints (allowed), I haven't bought anything scrappy related. And yesterday I finished my twelve holiday pages, using up the Christmas Salutations collection I was gifted down to just little scraps. I started working on another set of events layouts, which will be eleven 12x12 pages. I was able to pull all the papers from my stash, using up some sheets that have been in there for years!

Well, the using up stuff part has gone really well, but I did order AE DITL stuff - I had forgotten that release was coming - and my ATG adhesive source emailed that 3M pricing goes up Feb 1, so I put in my yearly order. I have been using up random adhesive which was one of my goals and I also have refrained from several other purchases. All in all better than I would have done if I was not trying. Feb goals: . Continue to use up random adhesive - Use up Story kits for PL - Reorg stash, put away Christmas, clean up and pull out Spring stuff to use. - No purchases for “the love of the product” , only for a specific project

The Binding source. I used to get it from a mom and pop on line framing company but their prices went up so much so last January I did a bunch of searching and price comparison and found this place. I order 12 rolls of acid free at a time. It’s not cheap, but it’s 3M quality and I like buying it all in one go.

January is almost over! How has everyone been doing with their freeze? I'm doing just fine. I haven't bought anything and I did some scrapping. Not a lot, but some. I haven't been tempted by much either. I'll wait for more new releases before I thaw a bit.

I've done really well for me. I did buy a new paper trimmer and got my Paper Person sub but I haven't purchased anything beyond that. I'm so proud of myself. February might be a bit rough for me since it's my birthday and I like to treat myself so I'm thawing for now. I want the Cocoa Vanilla No Limits line or at least components of it so I may have to do a preorder. I'm super impressed with everyone and how you've been able to stay frozen/chilly! Let's keep that momentum for February. It's a short month so you should be fine.

I got my monthly sub and refrained from extras and I used a small gift card for a few ink pads. I'm ok with that. I've been using a lot of my stash and have been creating and organizing and I'm feeling really good!

I did a complete freeze in January even of non scrapbooking stuff. I bought myself 2 bunches of flowers, a beauty blender and a memory card for my camera because I forgot mine and I’m on a trip. I didn’t even buy myself beer until yesterday. My other hobby is collecting good beer. For scrapbooking I did still get my paper person kit but no extras. And I had some design team stuff come in so I did get new stuff. I used a ton of old product up including trying to use my scraps. I think most of the pages I made included some scraps. Overall a pretty good month.
I have a list of items I’m buying today. I think I’m doing a mixed media project for 100 days so I’m buying that. And I need a lens adapter for my new camera. I have been keeping a list of things to buy when the month is over. Surprisingly it’s only got like 6 items on it.

So far so good. I've been really pleased with my chill. I have gone and filled a few virtual carts at some of my favourite stores, but have closed my browser without buying anything. No regrets so far. Earlier in January I placed one order for some embellishments to help me use up some existing stash, and that seems to be working well. I've been scrapbooking every week and have dug into some old supplies. I haven't managed to kill a collection yet, but so far more is getting used than is coming in.

February! 1 month down!!!
January went really well for me. I bought the Spellbinders die cutter with birthday money since my mom lives across the country. She couldn't just buy it and give it to me. I don't count that.
I'm trying to go freeze for a No Spend for the month of feb. Particularly with me ordering Doordash etc.

First scrappy purchase of the year for me today: 2 card sets from Studio Calico + 1 sheet of tiny word stickers on sale. I checked out as a guest which allowed me to reuse a 20% off coupon that still works. Nothing else. Stuck to my guns and just got the PL cards as I'm running very low on them right now. The word stickers had been on my to-buy list since they first appeared in last year's March kits. There were some cute small chipboard hearts from the new release that made their way into my cart but I removed them before checking out in the end.
2022 scrappy total so far: 18,40€ ($19.57) (shipping included)

January freeze was a success for me! No new scrappy supplies. I want to keep it going in February - hey its the shortest month of the year we can do it!

I'm also holding strong with no spending so far. I would like to make it through Feb without any purchases, although I gave myself a caveat to order Cocoa Vanilla's new line I'm going to try and hold strong until I've finished my 50 layouts first.

I totally caved on Feb 1 and preordered the new CV collection, plys a few other items, but I really culled my list down from what it was initially, so the frost helped me really analyze my purchases instead of buy! Buy! Buy!!

I was in my local Generica neighborhood today (all the big box stores, you know, it could be anywhere) with free time and no husband hurrying me along so I considered going to J's or M's but you know, I couldn't think of any good reason why I'd want to go there so I didn't. Might've helped that I was going through all my unfinished card projects just before I left the house and I can only really think of one thing I "need" to help finish them off and I want to get just the right die set, not whatever junk a big box store might have on sale.

I didn't spend anything in January, although I'm chilly not frozen.
Yesterday I bought two packs of stickers at Dollar Tree ($1.25 each). But they both fill a stash void that I have for layouts that are currently on my desk. One is sea shells for a trip my dd took. The other is farm themed, but has lots of goats. I have several pages worth of photos of my kids at the zoo, petting the goats, and no stash to match.
Overall, I've been doing a decent amount of scrapping, using stash, digging through sheets of paper that I've had for awhile.

I bought two packs of cardstock at TM on Sunday (1.97/pack) in colours I can and will actually use
DH picked me up some stickers at M's - sewing, baking, knitting, and engineer - I have photos for all them so...they'll get used also

I thought this belonged here Man, we could go crazy and challenge ourselves extra hard by adding February 29 as a no-buy day this year! Ladies, are we up for it? Can we do it?
