Almost all of the cafes here serve some kind of juice as it is a staple of Moroccans. I have fancy the detox juice ALOT. This surprised me because I NEVER would have thought I would drink green juice. I love it so much that I just bought my own juicer to use at home. I am thinking of replacing my breakfast meal with the green detox juice (spinach/cucumber/ginger/mint/green apple).
I would love to hear from experienced "juicers" for advice or interesting new recipes.

I do love the taste of juices and used to do it a lot but for various reasons I stopped. Cleaning the damn machine for one (I'd choose more carefully another time) and you tend to end up consuming a lot more natural sugar in an instant hit and you lose a lot of the fibre too. It's probably much better if you're mainly juicing veg rather than oranges, soft fruit etc.

I think there is a prankster ghost at the bucket that enjoys dragging up old posts to see how many of us he/she/they can trick into responding without realizing it is an old post. At least that sounds much more interesting than a bot is doing it. So allipeas, are you juicing still? I watched a show about a man who used juicing to lose a bunch of weight and cure his painful blistering disorder. The show explained how juicing was so good for your body and exactly what was happening inside you when you drank a healthy juice. I was quite fascinated and started juicing with my parent's old juicer. I absolutely loved the juice that I came up with. It was basically a little bit of a modification of what the guy in the show was doing. I just did a little bit of research on what each raw vegetables did for your body and then chose several, I think I came up with 8 of them, that would be of benefit to me, personally. The juice was so delicious that I even got my mom to drink it. When her old juicer died I bought another one and continued juicing for quite some time. My juicer is on one of my pods, of course, but when I can unpack it, I intend to go back to juicing. I hope to also grow some of the vegetables that I will be juicing. Not as my only source of calories like the guy in the movie did, but as a substitute for dinner, which seems to be the easiest way for me to replace a meal. I made up enough to last two days and kept day 2 in the refrigerator. It separated and looked gross, but when I shook it back up, it looked fine and tasted exactly like the first day's juice drink.

I did juice for a while. But I found that the amount of juice that got and just how much "slaw" was left over, I just stopped doing it as much. Especially since the brain surgery, I do good to just cook a meal at all. I would imagine that the raw juicing would be amazing for when I start radiation, but I don't know who is going to do it and keep it up.
What juicer do you use? Do you have a lot of leftovers or "slaw"?

It was just recently that there were complaints that the board moved too slow.

When I respond to a really old post, at first I feel a little silly after I realize it IS an old post. Like the person that bumped it got one over on me. And I also feel a little angry because it was a waste of my time to formulate and type out a response that isn't pertinent any longer. I don't know why other people are bothered.
