I am an extremely non-creative when it comes to titles. More often than not it is just the name of the person in the photo or the place we were. Very rarely do I get pun-ny or clever. You would think with my job I'd have more imagination but I think I'm just really literal when it comes to my pages.
I know some of you put a lot of thinking and time into your titles. I admire the creativity.
Ninety-five percent of the time I use Thickers, either words or stickers. I have an insane Thicker collection because I used to buy tons of them at Big Lots and Tuesday Morning. Occasionally I'll use flat stickers or cut something out. I only have the old cartridge cricut so I'm sure when I upgrade I'll cut more titles.
What kind of titles do you use? What products do you use to make your titles?

I am an anomaly, I think, because I don’t think it’s necessary to put a title on everything. More often than not I just skip it.

I’m not terribly creative for titles. Many pages go without or are very generic. I do use Allison Davis writing to remember. There is a hige section for titles by category and it’s come in helpful.

I'm SOOOOO type A when it comes to my titles. The pages I like the most have clever or interesting titles. I don't spend a lot of time on them...I'm just thinking about them from the moment I choose my photos and products, so by the time I'm ready to put it on the page I have it. - If a title is obvious to me, it often is the start of the design. - If I'm stuck later on, I do use a thesaurus...get a word that sounds good on the tongue, or lets me rhyme or use alliteration. - Sometimes, I like to start with a die cut or thicker title. - My husband loves puns and loves making plays on movie titles or memes. So he might wander through, see the layout in progress, and give me a good title. - I definitely like to have my title be specific to my page. A title like "good times" is NOT going to work for me. However, "Good times in the City" would be fine if it applied! - One of my favourite titles this year was "gritty kitty" - I mean, I had this new kitten who was both literally gritty dirty, but also plucky-type gritty.
I will use ANYTHING in my titles, but I love a mixture of fonts and sizes the most. Thickers are kinda the "backbone". I've been using my alphabet dies more this year, layering them to give them punch.

I am so uncreative when it comes to titles. I would love to have kitbop's wit. Her titles are always fabulous! I usually cut my own titles on my Silhouette. Thickers are too thick for me.

titles are definitely optional for me and I'm not very creative when I do use them.
Thickers, flat stickers, die cuts (either QK or with my Cricut), rub-ons, sometimes even computer generated....whatever works for the space available and the colours I'm using

90% of the time I cut titles on my Silhouette. I have Thickers but I just really like making my own titles. Sometimes they're clever and sometimes they're not. One of my recent favorites was one DD came up with. Sweet Chai O' Mine. DD had put together a gift bag for me that included some chai tea.

I feel like my titles are very boring and not ever witty or clever. I will cut out "Wind Cave National Park" and then write in the journaling how we went to Windcave. I'd love to have more creative titles. Mostly I use my cricut. I think that is part of it, it feels like so much work to do a title.

I often don't bother putting a title on my layouts. But having said that...... kitbop does the BEST titles!! I am in awe of her creativity, both from a design and a wording point of view. If she knew just how often I wanted to message her asking her to make up a title for me, she would be shocked haha! Also how often I go to her gallery to get an idea of how to mix up fonts / lettering to make it look good.

My titles are usually simple, just a location name or something like that. Or if I have premade thicker titles that work, I will use that.

Often for me the title is the glue that holds the LO together. I will wonder how I will scrap someone or something and then a title will pop into my head and the rest all falls into place for me. My favourite titles are quotes of what someone in the photos said to describe the activity or experience. For travel pages, I may use a photo of a sign or a cut out from a brochure for a title.
To start scrapping, I start by sorting my photos into groups and then make a list of the LO's I want to make with them. Often the title evolves from the wording of that list.
Most of my titles are done with Thickers or letter stickers. Usually matted with a couple of layers. Overlapping or at least touching at least one other element on the LO. I sometimes use my letter or word dies to cut letters to match when I don't have the stickers to work. Love to swap a letter like "o" for a heart or a button or snowflake or... Occasionally, I break out the Silhouette and put together a welded layered title with that.

Like kitbop , I strive for a custom title that reflects/supports the story (in words, color, product, tone, etc.) on each layout & typically use one or a combination of types, fonts, &/or sizes of dies, diecuts, stamps (often embossed), &/or stickers (flat, tile, Thickers).

I love titles and often look for a phrase or a pun Love to use thickers and the elusive OA mini markets I have hoarded!

I don't always use titles.
When I do, it's often rubber stamped.
I used to take a lot of time making creative, funny, or pun-y titles. I lost that spark as life changed.
I also used to buy Thickers and alpha stickers for titles, often buying multiples for the needed letters. But I was sick of the cost and being left with letters I didn't use.

I am not terribly creative about titles, but I do use them on most layouts. I love a combination of tile letters and Thickers. I will also cut out 2 or 3 titles and glue them together to get the dimension of Thickers.

When I use titles, the issue is what format/material to use. I am frequently confounded by what to use; Thickers, die cuts or printed. Spend way too much time on deciding the format/material.

After posting more than a few of my photo realistic paper layouts on the other thread you can see I rarely use an actual title. If I have a title sticker or die cut I am happy to use it, but more often than not I use whatever stickers I have available that fit the theme of the layout. If it is Christmas 2021 my title will likely be Christmas 2021, or Decorating the Tree, or Christmas Eve. Nothing creative, just stating the obvious.

I rarely do titles anymore. Most of the time the photos are self explanatory or I'd rather just journal something.

I love a good play on words or a pun so use those lots. Non-fun pages generally get a title as well. Scrapbooking for me is half about preserving the memory and half is the crafting process so must if my titles are created with a combination of techniques but must involve cutting something my silhouette
