Aww, he is a cutie, isn't he. He's actually a beagle / cavalier king charles cross but definitely has more of the beagle (his momma) in him than he does the cav (his father). He's 4.5 months old and his name is Riker. He's a nut. We absolutely love him. He's so much fun, but he's a puppy, so he does give us some grief. Right now, he's curled up on the couch beside me sleeping, because we just got back from our early morning walk.
He's getting better every week - he finally likes riding in the car. He used to have to be with us every second of the day, but is now spending some time out in the backyard on his own now. We're working on his barking. But he still has to be on a leash at all times when he's not in our yard or at a fenced in off-leash park - just like a typical beagle!

He is super cute! I had a beagle growing up named Sam. I absolutely adored him.

Oh my! Kiki sure is cute. Riker's favourite person is my dh as well, and he cries if Steve even goes out for a minute.
Before we even brought Riker home, we shored up under the deck, along fences and gates , because we were afraid he would get out. So far, we've been lucky, but I won't ever say it won't happen.
