Parent of a "barista" (she actually just got.a promotion and is now a shift lead) and ours are open today. My daughter's store was open on both Christmas and New Years Eve/Day also. But like others said if you're area was hit hard with Covid they may have had to close because they don't have enough employees, we had some stores do that back in the beginning of the pandemic. On another note I may be avoiding Starbucks for awhile after finding out they modified their covid response. My daughter was exposed to covid (both her dad and his girlfriend's whole family whom the kids spent a bunch of the holidays with all tested positive in the past week) and her manager still had her come in and work. Didn't even ask that she get tested first. Does your daughter mask at work? The current guidelines say you don’t have to isolate if you’re exposed but asymptomatic, just mask for 10 days and get tested on day 5. Not saying I like it, but that might be why. She does. I understand the policy, but given how prevalent Omicron seems to be going through our area I'm not loving the choice. Of course my daughter was just upset she couldn't get at least one day off to test. She had to move stores with her promotion a few months ago and absolutely hates it now. Has an interview this afternoon for a new job. LONG overdue, she's worked at Starbucks for 7+ years and has a bachelor's degree. I've been trying to get her to get "real job" for the past couple years but she isn't great with change. |

I haven't noticed them being closed, but both of the stores near me have been closing at 4:00pm for at least a couple of months now.

The app pulls up 50 stores within 12 miles near me and 45 of them either say not taking online orders or closed.

Starbucks closed 2 locations in my area in the fall semi-permanently until they can get enough staff to keep them open full time. I think I read that they shifted the existing staff to other locations. I haven't heard that they've re-opened them yet.

We only have a few near us and they're all open - but online ordering hasn't been available for weeks. And the one closest to us closes much earlier than before - 5 pm.
