they said I could wear theirs over mine What was their reasoning for this? They have no way of knowing how long you have been wearing that mask. Could have been days with you handling it on and off. And if you (general you, not you, you) are one that wears it below your nose then it is not clean. Touch it with your hands and, boom! This is one way they can keep a small, miniscule bit of sanitization with the masks. |

That's so scary! I hope you're all healed soon.
I've wondered about the quality of masks, too. When you're going through probably hundreds a day, you're going to buy the cheapest option. I usually wear fabric masks, and if they required me to wear theirs I would put it on over mine as well.
