I’ll answer the interesting questions later but just a note about dimensions. Some (many?) companies always use outside rather than inside dimensions. I learned that when some Container Store containers didn’t work for something, and was told their dimensions are always outside. The Target dimensions may be accurate if measured that way.
It’s kind of annoying since inside dimensions matter too, sometimes more than outside, though lots of times outside is important for bins - like what cube furniture (Expedit, Kallax, etc.) something will fit into. Both would be nice.

So, question: did you and sleepingbooty like Cathy Z's scrapbook pages? I always found her designs as you described above. Personally, I'd put CZ more in the clean minimalist style overall but she's done projects that venture into the more delicate/elegant style.

1. Where do you hang out (for scrappy inspiration) besides 2Peas? Any message boards? What YouTube channels do you watch? Patreon? This is the only "traditional" message board where I hang out. I don't know of any other ones off the top of my head. YouTubers I watch are Heba (My Little Journal), Dearly Dee, Heather's Crafty Life, Leilani Scraps, Inky Quill, plus so many others, but the ones I listed I watched regularly. Heba and Dearly Dee are my favorites because I really like their style and sometimes they are super simple but other times they get fairly elaborate (mainly Dearly Dee with some of her sewing techniques on pages), Heba stays fairly simple). I was a part of Victoria Marie patreon but I dropped it this year because I just wasn't scrappin the way she does anymore (lots of 12x12 individual stories and a little of PL and some Ali Edwards projects) and I've mostly moved to mainly pocket page and TN scrapping. I was thinking about joining either Dearly Dee or Heather's Crafty Life patreons but I need to think about it a bit more to see if I will get anything additional out of it. 2. Are you a member of Simple Scrapper? I was thinking about joining for the yearly membership but decided to save my money because I know how I am and I probably won't join in on any of their crops or do the classes. I do enjoy her podcast though. 3. Crops I've done 2 online crops since the pandemic hit and it's hard for me to get stuff done during those crops because my family is ALWAYS HERE and always wants to see what I'm doing or needs something. I need to physically leave my house in order for a crop to work. LOL I've tried setting a boundary (I'm going into the office for 2 hours and don't bother me at all unless the house is burning down and that doesn't work.) Plus a lot of the crops that people have are around meal prep/dinner time so those are hard for me to join (downside of following central/east coast scrappers when you're on the west coast). 4. Blogs I used to blog years ago but it wasn't a crafty blog, it was a travel blog when I would go to Europe once a year. And it was mainly my travel journal so my parents could see what I was up to in semi-real time. I ended up deleting it after my daughter was born since I hadn't updated it in a few years. I mainly post my crafty stuff to my crafty Instagram I just started late last year. I rarely look at crafty blogs unless I'm directed there by Instagram or YouTube. My main inspiration is from Instagram and YouTube. 5. Target and storage I stopped looking at Target for storage mainly because I could never find what I needed there. I've had better luck at TJ Maxx/HomeGoods/Marshalls. 6. Notebook for project tracking I just created one because I'm taking the Project Done class with Victoria Marie. An acquaintance of mine took it and said it really helped her figure out what projects to work on and she got a ton of old projects done last year. It's a year long class. So far it's helped me go through my unfinished projects and I have WAY more than I thought it did! I now have all the partially finished projects stacked by my desk so I can work on them when I figure out my crafty working schedule.

My favorite YT channels tend to be ones that do mini albums or other paper crafting. For scrapbooking I enjoy Missy Whidden & Shimelle. I don’t follow anyone on Patreon. There have been threads previously where people list their favorite YT channels. It’s worth the search as there’s been some great ones suggested! I joined Simple Scrapper for 1 month last year in Aug/Sept. I was most interested in the Zoom crops as I really enjoy crafting online with others. I found that most of the Zoom crops were short in length (1-2 hours), which isn’t my preference. The site has a lot of content; with a heavy emphasis on the storytelling aspect of scrapbooking. I’m not big on journaling, so it wasn’t a great fit for me. Everyone was nice and they were welcoming to new users. I would LOVE to have an online crop during the week. It was my intention in February to see if anyone else would be interested in this on a regular basis. For years now I’ve been buying planners and using them as notebooks. This year, I bought a notebook! 🤣 I actually bought two. One is the skinny/tall, half size version of the Happy Planner notebook specifically to help me keep track of crafty projects. I do use the Notes app on my phone, but I like a paper list for some things because I like to sketch and draw dimensions, too. ETA: I’m very sorry for your loss. Ohh thanks for the info on the crops being kinda short in length. I could do long or short time wise...but I really like the aspect of the no talking they mentioned. Are they really quiet? I get side tracked with chatting usually during the crops here (which is fine sometimes...but othertimes I need to be kept on task. LOL I am a teachers nightmare!) I am totally in for a week day crop and bonus points if its regular and has a set time/day so I can plan around it. I am home alone all day during the week and I am missing out on 'seeing' others and what they are working on. mom No, the crops aren't really quiet in general. There were two standing ones that I recall that were quiet. The Monday morning co-working ones that was 1 or 2 hours. Then every other Friday night there as a crop that was quiet. On alternate Fridays it was most certainly not quiet, lol. The crops in between during the week/other weekend days were typically not designated as quiet crops, but the amount of talking varied depending on the attendees, both the quantity and actual people. There always seems to be one or two people that tend to dominate the crops and talk over people, so I tend to leave early once I get tired of listening to just them, lol. But that's me. Someone else might have enjoyed those same people and joined in!

1. I'm mostly here, on ig, or youtube. Besides Allison Davis' classes I haven't found much inspiration on FB. I sub to Janet on Patreon but I'm ready to unsub. It's only $1 but at this point I feel like I'm paying $1 to mostly hear her chat, watch her put things away, and organize her room. I'm willing to pay more to watch someone actually scrapbook so I'm looking for someone else to sub to. On youtube I sub to ColieBing, Scrapbooking Quebec, Suzanna Lee, Victoria Marie, Mari Clarke, Becky Adams, Allison Davis, Happy Arty Days, and a few others.
2. Not a member of Simple Scrapper. I'm sure it's great but $25 per month is asking a lot.
3. I'm working on being more productive during the week, too. Something that works for me is to know exactly what I'll be working on next time I scrap. It eliminates avoiding starting because I don't know what to do and don't want to waste time.
4. If you feel comfortable please share your blog with us. I don't blog or post anywhere online because I feel like the time it takes eats into the little time I have to scrap.
5. I'm always annoyed when storage items aren't clear on the size inside of the item.
6. I will also waste time or spend time on other things when I could be scrapping. Note to self: scrapping is much more fulfilling than doomscrolling. I do keep a list of things on my phone that I want to scrap or try on a layout. And back to my 3rd point above, it helps to know exactly what I'll be doing when I sit at my desk. No wasted time hesitating.

Scrappy Inspiration The majority of my scrapping is Project Life, but the only one I continue to follow consistently for PL is Ali Edwards. I follow Ali for ideas for scrapping outside the pockets and I still consider her the gold standard for that type of scrapping. I follow Shimelle because she is good at giving me design concepts for 12x12, even though our styles are completely different. The majority of my online inspiration is currently card makers.
Simple Scrapper I don’t pay for any online memberships, You Tube or Patreon. I find plenty of free inspiration online. Plus, I know that I’m not much of an online class/crop participator so I wouldn’t get my money’s worth.
Quiet Co-working I like to scrap to Shimelle’s live videos. I find them good company and I don’t have to visually pay attention. I like her chatter and don’t find her accent off-putting. I attend local crops at my LSS (mostly 3 day) and I enjoy the energy they bring to my scrappy mojo. When it gets too loud or monotonous, I put in my air pods. I have not found zoom cropping to provide the same enjoyment.
Scrap List I don't keep track of anything. I pretty much scrap chronologically and stalled out working backwards at 2010. I’m hoping 2022 proves to be better for me scrap-wise. Also, I plan to retire this year and I have plans to work scrapping all my backlog into my new found days to fill. I’m not someone who works well without structure, so I’m probably going to have to make a list with goals/due dates to keep me on track.

1. Where do you hang out (for scrappy inspiration) besides 2Peas? Any message boards? What YouTube channels do you watch? Patreon? No other message board. I watch several YT’ers. Adele/Inkie Quill, Shimelle, Missy Whidden, Laura Alberts, Rebecca Moore to name a few. I subscribe to Suse Fish’s Scrap School on Patreon. Suse shares a ton of inspiration in videos and designs kits for us that are lovely. It’s $4.50 per month. Suse is so sweet and one of my all time favorites! I also sub to Janet/RTS. Her style is not mine. I would not sub if it was more than $1 based on our style differences.
2. Are you a member of Simple Scrapper?... Edit: its $25/mo and I just can't bring myself to spend that right now. Wow! Too pricey. That would buy quite a few supplies.
3. On the Simple Scrapper podcast they were talking about 'Quiet Co-Working' (or something like that) zoom crops I’ve tried a couple of online crops but I prefer an in person event. Fortunately, we still have them where I live and I attend them quite often. I am typically in my space working with You Tube videos on or a movie.
4. I am for sure going to start blogging again. I’m sure it’s a lot of work!
5. Target has a new line of clear, affordable, organizing containers and they have one listed in store as 12x12. Its not really that size though. Its like 11.8 x 11.8 and its just short of fitting scrapbook paper. I looked at those the other day in the store and thought it was a tad too small. I should keep a folded 12x12 piece of paper in my purse for this type of situation. I never remember the tape measure and usually run over to where rulers are stocked to help my measuring.
6. Do you have a notebook where you keep a running list of things you want to do scrappy wise? I wish that was how my brain worked. I work on what inspires me at the moment. No plan. I find a photo or two that I want to scrap and then ponder what collection in my stash will work with the photos.

Fun questions!
1. Where do you hang out (for scrappy inspiration) besides 2Peas? Any message boards? What YouTube channels do you watch? My main two sites besides here are The Lilypad and The Digital Press, but only for the shopping and the gallery. I don't post on their message boards. I also love The Hip Kit Club, even though it's paper scrapping. Their kits are divine, the colours are right up my alley. I don't watch any particular You Tube channels. I mainly use You Tube for Photoshop tutorials, if I need to know how to do something like make a custom shape or use a designer's actions/styles.
2. Are you a member of Simple Scrapper? I'm not sure what you get for your money, but there is no way I'd pay $25 per month. There is so much inspiration to be found everywhere, I can't imagine why anyone would pay that kind of money. Apologies to anyone who does (I haven't read the thread yet).
6. Do you have a notebook where you keep a running list of things you want to do scrappy wise? Yes, my teenage son gave me some nice notebooks for Mother's Day. I use them to make all sorts of notes regarding scrapbooking. If I'm doing a multi photo spreas and I have lots of photos to choose from, I write down the photo numbers and whether they are portrait or landscape, then use those notes to find a suitable sketch or template. Sometimes I do sketches in them. Notes about challenges I am doing.

1. Scrappy inspiration: Instagram, YouTube (faves: Ali Edwards, Amy Gretchen, Dearly Dee, Colie Bing, Victoria Marie), and Simple Scrapper. 2. Simple Scrapper: Yes, I am a member, but the price was lower when I joined last year: $149/year, which comes out to $12.50/month. (They don't increase the price for recurring memberships; you are locked in at your starting price.) I'm still "new," but I think it's worth it. There's a dozen or more weekly crops with different hosts, the quiet co-working, six themed "journeys" per year with associated live events and workshops, a book club, and a bunch of resources like sketches, galleries, challenges, etc. It's definitely geared toward making members more productive in their scrapbooking, which is what I was seeking. I didn't need more inspiration as much as I needed more accountability. 3-5. Not much to share on these topics. 6. Project Notebook: Yes! I finally bought a Story Planner on super sale from Ali Edwards and then scoured all the FB resell groups for the various inserts that are no longer sold. I need something physical for sketching out my ideas, and that is working for me. I also keep a folder of saved inspiration images on my computer desktop. I should probably move that to Evernote (or something similar) at some point. It could use to be better organized with tags and accessible from other devices.

1. Where do you hang out (for scrappy inspiration) besides 2Peas? Any message boards? What YouTube channels do you watch? Patreon?
I make cards, occasionally a box or something else, so feel free to ignore since I’m not a scrapper. I finally joined FB with a false name to participate in SB & Cards Today events, and joined a few other groups. I used to hang out on Split Coast Stampers but not now.
On youtube I watch mostly card makers, not all of them all the time, for techniques and inspiration, sometimes because I like them:
Ingrid Blackburn - arty, push your limits, open, kind. Natasha Foote - different ways of using what you have, a sweetheart, some unique twists on standard techniques. Card Cutups (Scott) - not so much my style (Hero Arts scenes since he’s on the DT) but love him and his laugh. Prairie Paper & Ink (Amy R) - love her attitude and techniques - working in her garage right now when it’s 30 below zero. And some well known card makers that were some the first I heard of and still occasionally watch, like Jennifer McGuire, Gina K (especially her 5-minute cards - watched two videos tonight - sometimes Kristina W, others.
ETA Debbie Hughes! Accomplished watercolorist, exquisite, detailed, layered cards, she models how practice and study combined with talent can create magic. Soft spoken, if I recall making videos was a bit outside her comfort zone but she pushed forward.
2. Are you a member of Simple Scrapper? No
3. On the Simple Scrapper podcast and zoom crops…
I haven’t had luck engaging in podcasts so far. My mind wanders. I get distracted so easily that zoom crops might not be the best fit. I’m either immersed in a project and lose track of time (and place and the world) or can visit, but not both very well. Pre pandemic I loved live classes though sometimes struggled with the balance of socializing versus doing the work, though instructors provided direction, which helped.
4. I am for sure going to start blogging again. I finally figured out my password and I am going to make it happen.
I’ll subscribe!
5. Target has a new line of clear, affordable, organizing containers and they have one listed in store as 12x12. Its not really that size though. Its like 11.8 x 11.8 and its just short of fitting scrapbook paper.
Yeah, some/many companies do outside rather than inside measurements.
6. Do you have a notebook where you keep a running list of things you want to do scrappy wise?
I haven’t but should. I have a mental list of cards, but don’t get around to creating much until I have to - like a birthday is coming up. I have plenty of time, and I do quite a bit of testing and experimenting. I can’t craft now anyway since I’m right handed and my right arm and shoulder are broken.
Now back to read what others wrote. I didn’t want to be influenced. : ) Neat questions, thank you!

grammadee, I would love to have a daytime online crop. I might find that easier to attend than the weekends. Seems that things pop up to derail my weekends. I am only on this website. I don't do Facebook or any other social media. I get too easily distracted into scrapping videos, pinterest pins and other places. I don't need any other derailing sites. LOL I am a very simple scrapper and don't plan out my scrapping. I scrap what appeals to me that day. It can be a photo from my children as toddlers or my great-grandchildren. I'm led by the photos.

1. I mostly hang out here and at Victoria Marie designs FB group/crops. I don’t watch a lot of Scrapbooker on YouTube at all and as of now, no Patreon although I would be open to it. Stacy Julian is going to be launching some type of membership site starting February and I will be looking into that. I am a member of Big Picture classes but I need to drop that as I am not using it really.
2. I am not a simple Scrapbooker member.
3. I would love a 2 peas weekday crop- I work a rotating schedule which results in my having every day of the week off, during a two week time period ( one week I am off T/W and the weekend and the following weekend i am off on M and Thurs/Fri) so, if you held it the same day every week, I could make it 2x per month and I would love it
4) yay on the blog
6) I used Evernote for awhile, and then I used apple notes- which I did like better. Now I am using the app craft (which is not specific to crafts, and it is not free). It won awards last year and is continually being updated and improved. I do like it a lot so far. (Side note, for supply inventory I use Color My Life)

Where do you hang out (for scrappy inspiration) besides 2Peas? Any message boards? What YouTube channels do you watch? Patreon? Just here and IG. I broke up with FB awhile back. I watch Ali Edwards and a few random people on YT here and there, but I have a hard time paying attention to videos. No Patreon, but I would consider it.
Are you a member of Simple Scrapper? No, but I was way back in 2017. I just found the pdf of the Your Way Workbook in my emails that used to be free for everyone. The format didn’t work for me back then. It seems to have changed a lot with the zooms/mighty network and I considered joining again recently. I watched their reveal party on YT and did a little research. I think it would be a good membership for accountability, which I need. I opted not to join only because I have limited free time right now and I don’t know that I would use it enough. I’m kind of regretting that now since I think the recent price hike is a bit bonkers and I don’t know that I would join, once I have more free time, based on that price. I do enjoy the podcast.
On the Simple Scrapper podcast they were talking about 'Quiet Co-Working' I think quiet co-working sounds great! When I have the time I just want to get to work.
Do you have a notebook where you keep a running list of things you want to do scrappy wise? I usually keep a project goal list in my planner each year. When I go to crops I have an organized project planner page of what projects I want to complete and the supplies I need for each project.
