I read this thread all the time, and I am sometimes surprised by those who don't like the episodes. I am an oddity I guess because I love them all. I find myself in tears every week. This week's episode was so good, IMO. I thought the story line of Beth and Madison trying to figure out who Kevin slept with was so cute. LOL I don't know who I want him to end up with, to be honest. This has been one of my favorite shows, and I hate to see it ending. We can be oddities together. I absolutely love this show and am sometimes surprised at the criticisms. I realize not everyone will love it like I do, but I am just puzzled at how strong the negative opinions are at times. But hey, no skin off my nose, and it's not like I need to convince anyone they are wrong LOL. Opinions vary, and I enjoy the discussions. I co-sign all of this! Oddities Unite! |

We can be oddities together. I absolutely love this show and am sometimes surprised at the criticisms. I'm more a take it as it comes kind of person and usually don't bother to pick things apart. Just enjoying the ride and I don't bother much to critique this or many shows or movies. It's basically comes down to will I watch again or no. This is a yes. My DS on the other hand, can and does see the pixel counts on screen among other things. "Mom, did you notice xxx?". No. No, kid, I did not. Story is still the same. 😂 |

I'm still thinking he ends up with Madison. They all looked a lot older in that flash forward than another 5 or 6 years. What if it is more like 10-15 years in the future. Kevin could get together with Madison (or Sophie) and have another set of twins. And that is who we see in the flash forward. Madison could get divorced. Or maybe the new husband dies, Madison and Kevin get married and the boy we see in the flash forward is the baby she just had. And he called Kevin dad, because his bio dad died. I'm just thinking out loud here. This probably way off base.

This episode made me cry a lot. The SONG. Everything moving so fast! Relatable- as my dad is fighting cancer, my mil is dying and my fil has dementia. The “detective” thing was cute just because of their dynamics but I could care less who Kevin slept with or ends up with.
Randall isn’t my favorite and what’s next.. President? His speech was good tho. I wanted their girls to be there. (Love all the younger Randalls tho!)
Kate’s dress is WOW 🤩

I guess we get to see Kevin's wedding adventures in the next episode.
In this one, I liked how comfortable Nicky is with his partner and how the the two of them interact so well with Rebecca and Miquel.
The song was beautiful, and not surprising given that music seems to be one of the most lasting memories. I liked the clips of she and Jack on their date and how it was tied to the present with that song.
I am okay with whomever Kevin ends up. I don't think it will be the wedding singer, although she falls into his pattern of ultra short term relationships, and Nicky suddenly went from no one to THE one in one airplane flight. And I don't see the mother of his twins moving back to him. That leaves his teenage bride Sophie and friend/former lover Cassidy, and I would be happy with either one.

I’ve read som Facebook comments and there are a couple theories that I’m kind of leaning toward about Kevin. 1) Kevin ends up with the wedding singer as that is a parallel story to how Jack met Kate. I don’t know that we have enough time to make this a satisfactory storyline, but I do think that’s interesting. 2) Kevin ends up with nobody. He focuses his life on being a great father. Maybe not everything gets wrapped up with a bow. Perhaps Kevin’s journey is not to find the love of his life , but to become a great father like Jack.

I just read an article in EW and the producer says, " this is more or less going to be an end game for Kevin romantically," in reference to this developing storyline. But also to "expect the unexpected". Also, "Some people will be happy and some people might not be happy." So, yeah cannot draw any conclusions other than he does end up with someone. |

I don't want him with the wedding singer, even though the parallel to how Jack met Rebecca is admittedly nice. I wouldn't hate the idea of him ending up with nobody & just being a great dad, as Jack was. But I still would be happiest if he & Sophie found their way back to each other where they belong! |

OMG! That ending was perfect! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love how they pulled all the “clues” together that Madison and Beth found last week.
And I can’t wait to see Miguel’s story next week.

I agree, awesome episode. I loved how it ended. Definitely the right way to go
and has anyone else ever heard of going to a dry cleaners to explore their unclaimed clothes? Brilliant!

I loved last night. I was wondering how much time passed between the engagement party and wedding. She seemed happy with her husband at the engagement party and then at the wedding already divorced?
I am super happy with the outcome though. I'm so glad we are getting Miguel's story!

I thought this was the best episode ever! I was not on Team Sophie, but the writers made it convincing and I'm so glad it ended up the way it did.
Very happy with this outcome!

I loved last night too. Seems like the writers are writing like they did at the beginning. Really pulling on our heartstrings. Every little detail was excellent. I’m sure I’ll rewatch it a few times, as I am a big Kevin fan.

I am so happy. It was the only ending for Kevin that would make sense. He and Sophie belong together.
Can't wait for Miguel's story. Long overdue! Only 4 episodes left. Sad!

Thinking about the flash forward, what other loose ends does the show need to tie up?
Kate wasn’t there, neither was Miguel. And Toby didn’t have a wedding ring on even though he remarried. Anything else?

While I found this week's episode a little bit slow in parts, I love how it was told and how the whole thing unfolded. I loved the little Valentine that Kevin has carried all these years.  It was a sweet episode - I am really looking forward to Miquel's episode.
And Toby didn’t have a wedding ring on even though he remarried. Do we know he remarried. We did see him with the other lady, but did they get married??

I hope someone can answer this question. Why is Sophie even invited to these events. They were married right out of high school, then divorced. Was Kate that good of friend to her? I mean it works for the story line, I know., but……why? I may have missed a nuance somewhere….

I loved how Rebecca was giving advice to Sophie, thinking they were 20. If only we could go back and get some different, helpful advice in the past! That just warmed my heart so much, especially with all the sadness associated with her dementia.
