I’m really concerned about the health of these women’s pelvic floor. I think that is what makes some of the huge numbers unbelievable. I'm the oldest of 10. My mother eventually had to have a full hysterectomy due to her uterus dropping (I hope I said that right). Numbers over 20 are a little difficult to believe...

My paternal grandmother was one of 13 and my paternal grandfather was one of 15. I thought those numbers were excessive, but sheesh 69?!?!?! My vagina just shrieked and hid.

My dad comes from a typical Catholic Mexican family. He is 4th of 9. At this point, 7 are still with us.
My mom was born in Mexico and lived in a small town that my great-grandfather founded. My grandmother married my grandfather by the church. My grandfather then married a lady legally 4 years later.
My grandmother had 12 kids and the lady, who lived across the street had 16, two sets of twins. My grandfather a twin.
Now, wait. My grandfather bought the house that butted against my grandmother and put his mistress there. She had 14 kids.
And yes, the ladies were very friendly with each other, they depended on each other and the kids grew up together.
That's 42. However, someone found my uncle and he said he was number 57 and had 3 other siblings that belonged to my grandfather. We've tried to do a genealogy but not all records are there because a lot of kids were not registered to my grandfather.

Dear God, no. I am not 100% sure I am going to make it out alive when raising two! Ha! Having one child plucked my nerves sometimes.
