Hi everyone! My house is coming along ... I hid out in my bedroom the entire time the painters were here yesterday ... unfortunately, they are coming back today  I just want some privacy for one freaking day!  Oh well ... I'm doing more marking today ... it never ends  This is what I posted on Facebook today ... I left my phone at work one time and didn't realize it until I was halfway home ... had to turn around and go get it ... PITA ... that was about 40 extra minutes to my commute time   Dinner tonight will be that pasta that I was mentioning yesterday ... I didn't have it so tonight it is! Pasta Pacifico  Hugs and get well thoughts to those of you that need them!  What are your plans today? What is on your menu tonight? Have a relaxing Sunday everybody! |

My dh is working on the basement while I clean the house. Then we are heading home before the snow storm hits. If it even does.
Not sure about dinner. Maybe eggplant parmigiana or deconstructed lasagna. And salad too.

I hope all of you have a good day. I ended up having room service last night which was a salmon in miso with rice and green beans. Very good. Very expensive. I am on my way to Hollywood studios this morning. I will check back in later. Epcot was nice yesterday And it was hot like 74 degrees. Which seems weird because it's so cold at home. I only got one pic at Epcot yesterday. I was too busy walking around looking at everything.  |

Under a severe thunderstorm warning here in Ft. Lauderdale. Just hanging out today. Dinner is at my niece’s house. Hopefully her DH is smoking something!

I'm going to do some more of my current puzzle today. I will make the air fryer chicken fajitas that I never made on Friday. It's football playoffs this afternoon. Go Team! leannec , I'm sorry to hear that your house is being invaded by workers once again. Have you seen some houses that interest you? Are you thinking house or townhouse? Darcy Collins , enjoy your reading day. Such a nice way to spend a weekend day. teddyw , have a safe, easy drive home. My sil sent me a photo of the falling snow. In her area there won't be enough to stick to the ground, but she'll get icy roads.
jeremysgirl , will you see Harry Potter world? It's on my master dream list.

Darcy Collins I’m going to start a new book today, not sure which yet. Enjoy your reading time! It’s a quiet day for me. DBF is gone ice fishing with a buddy, so I have the house to myself. I’ll probably vacuum, and the dishwasher is running. That’s going to be the extent of my work for the day. I’ll be going into my scrapbook room in a few minutes to plan for a weekend crop with some girls next weekend. Dinner will be some pork tenderloin I just put in the crockpot. Not sure what the sides will be yet. Happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday! Helping our DS and his family pack up their house. They sold it and will be building this spring. In the meantime they will be living with us.
Invited youngest DS over for dinner and he requested spaghetti.

Another lazy day here. DH left before I woke up to go to the airport - he's in Gothenburg for the week, back Friday lunchtime. It was lovely and sunny, so my walk was much more pleasant than the past few days. I also had a bit of a chat with family - we let them know we are coming home for a visit, so a lot of messages to respond to about that. After lunch was my Communion class and then mass. I am so enjoying the classes - these kids have such wonderful questions for their age. One mum told me after church that her two boys - older one is in my group - have started saying the Lord's Prayer at bedtime each night, in both English and German!
Dinner tonight is probably the leftover risotto from last night. I did get a pork fillet out of the freezer for today, but I don't really feel like cooking now, so it can be tomorrows dinner.

leannec , I'm sorry to hear that your house is being invaded by workers once again. Have you seen some houses that interest you? Are you thinking house or townhouse? I'll be moving into an apartment style condo with two bedrooms and two bathrooms ... and an underground parking stall!  It means getting rid of a lot of stuff but I'm looking forward to new furniture and decorating my place the way I want it to be done! I get emails everyday with listings that might interest me ... I saw one a couple of days ago that was PERFECT but it will be long sold before I'm ready to buy  I know what I don't want ... carpet ... white appliances ... wallpaper ... It's going to be fun when I start looking at these places in person ... I'm not sure if I'm serious or sarcastic with that statement!  |

DH and I started out in the type of condo that you want. It was a really nice place, but my only vent was the small kitchen. That is the only thing that I would change if I were to downsize. That might mean looking at a townhouse, but that means stairs.

I am making a different okonomiyaki for dinner tonight. It was so good the last time. My dad is going out for lunch and I am trying to convince my gay work son to go shopping with me. He is my Queer Eye for the Straight Girl. I love it!

I took a rack of pork out of the freezer last night so I will roast that with garlic and rosemary😊😊😊😊
Haven't decided on sides...besides applesauce....but I have plenty of veggies!!!

Just got back from a long walk on a trail that starts in the next block over. Beautiful trees, streams, etc. There will be football and more scrapbooking today! Dinner will be flank steak with baked beans, a fruit salad and a green salad.  |

Last night's soupe au pistou was fabulous! Left overs for lunch.
Tonight is In and Out for dd. Her birthday falls on her IgG infusion day and she can not have any histamine foods that day so she chose today for her In and Out birthday dinner.
She will have double meat protein style spread only, fries, and a coke.
Dh will have either a grilled cheese, no tomato add grilled onion and pickles or hamburger, add grilled onions and pickles, no tomato with fries and chocolate shake.
Ds will have a fry.
I will have a grilled cheese add grilled onion and pickle with fries and an iced tea.
Perfect as I won't have to cook for the Chiefs game.
GO CHIEFS!!!!!

I’m sort of cleaning and organizing pack up more winter stuff.
I’m also making soup and we’ll also have homemade pizza tonight.
I’m slow moving—my knee is killing me and I cannot put weight on it at the moment—my meniscus appears to have totally failed me!
Getting ready for hubby to build a fire in the fireplace, so I’m sure our living room will become a mosh pit of blankets and pillows! We will all be in some form of leggings/sweats/pjs just waiting for the snowstorm to hit (we’re slated for 6”-12” in a short time)

I love looking at real estate listing but I don't like having to buy under pressure. Is the market hot in Calgary right now, leannec? Are you going looking at more urban areas for your new place? It's another quiet day here. DH pulled a giant tri tip out of the freezer and will probably grill it. I'm not sure what he has planned for sides but I'm hoping to persuade him to put vegetables on a sheet pan to roast. I sent the boys to Trader Joe's with a list yesterday and they only forgot one thing. |

Making mashed potatoes tonight and throwing the rest of the Italian beef on top, alongside some kind of veggie. I just don’t think I can make the 12yo eat soup AGAIN (two different kinds currently in fridge and we just finished off a third). I’m also making tapioca again. Third time in four days. The sick people AND the not-sick people keep asking for it. leannec, I only want white appliances. Good thing I’m not trying to sell my house. I also don’t like granite countertops, but I guess I’m going to end up with those, anyway. |

No scrapmaven we will not be going to Harry Potter World. We have just finished up at Hollywood studios and have returned to our hotel. My BFF is taking a nap and I'm reading my daily meditation out on our balcony. We will have dinner in one of our hotels restaurants tonight and probably a few drinks at the bar in our hotel where we've spent the last three nights making our way through their specialty cocktails. Honestly those have been more impressive than the food in the theme parks. I've packed up my bags and it looks like I just may be able to get all my things home tomorrow. I was afraid I was going to have to buy another suitcase. Ha!  |

We have stainless steel appliances I like the look, but we can only use stainless steel cleaner on them. By the time we started buying stainless we opted for the brushed stainless that doesn't show fingerprints. It is a Godsend! |
