No! White appliances only! You guys are making my head explode. HA HA HA P.S. and especially not “almond” appliances, which is what my house came with in 1982. gahhh I heard those are coming back into style. noooooo! I didn’t even like them the first time around.

That might mean looking at a townhouse, but that means stairs. Stairs usually mean carpet and I don't want carpet ... I have a cat that pees on carpet Is the market hot in Calgary right now, leannec? Are you going looking at more urban areas for your new place? It's pretty healthy ... ex is a realtor and he is doing alright ... I think the condos I am looking for stay on the market a little longer but not the really nice ones like I saw the other day ... If only I could afford two mortgages!

Hi Everyone, It is extremely cold here and we are expecting both snow and rain; which means ice. ODS went back to campus today. If he didn’t go today, he probably would not make it until Tuesday. We already miss him. Today, is a lazy day. We have had some Internet problems, so I watched some TV, took a nap, and checked out my new planner and prayer journal. I am hoping to start making some cards tomorrow. Dinner tonight sounds like lucyg’s. Mashed potatoes, carrots and Italian sausage. leannec I understand how you feel about having contractors all the time in your house. And hopefully it will be over soon. jeremysgirl I am so happy that you are having such an amazing time! You so deserve it! karenlou Your dinner sounds good! leannec scrapmaven, lucyg, cadoodlebug I love my stainless steel appliances. I had white for years and loved them. But after watching home shows for so long; I fell in love with the look. A few years ago, I saw that they were making copper appliances, but I never heard if people began buying them. sueg What a lovely update on your class. papercrafteradvocate I sympathize with you on the torn meniscus. I hope that all of you are having a great day!

Made a stuffed shell recipe I found on YouTube. They have sausage, spinach and cheese (Parmesan and mozzarella) in them and are covered with sauce and more cheese. I hope they taste good!
I made my late aunt’s brownies for dessert because I haven’t had them in years and they’re amazing.

I have returned home from my mom’s house. It’s just starting to snow. 6-12 inches is in the forecast so I’m planning a couple of days of reading, streaming Netflix and starting a new afghan. I’m currently covered by a pile of pups so I’m not to worried about being cold!
I have no idea what to have for supper but I’m thinking maybe 🍷 wine? I might have some cheese and crackers with it just to act like I’m not just drinking my dinner! Enjoy your evening and Go Steelers! (If they even bother to show up!)

I'm guessing your almond refrigerator is still working somewhere in the world. 🤣 It might be! It was still running in 2008 when I got sick of looking at it (well, sick enough to do something about it) and bought a giant white French door Amana. Which I still freakin’ love. Gave away the old one to someone, I don’t remember who.

having salad, and chicken something. I am making a blueberry cobbler.. with berries that don't taste too good and some frozen ones. we like blueberries for breakfast, but these were mushy and not good. can't throw them away though
ended up with chicken/with mushrooms, peas, pilaf, salad, and the cobbler is in the oven

I also don’t like granite countertops, but I guess I’m going to end up with those, anyway. I don't understand....why would you end up w/ something you don't like? KelleeM....I meant to comment on your recent post about making Chinese pie with the GARLIC that your sweet Dick didn't like! Those posts used to make me smile .....we'd joke about how can anyone NOT LIKE GARLIC ! ? ! DH, Meaty and I went to the park---it was sooo nice to stare at the water and ducks. I hadn't cried over Little Guy by then, and kiiiiinda hoped there'd be no crying (and splitting post-cry headache) today or tonight. We get home, and my Dad had fallen (AGAIN!) but he's okay. I worry that someday, he is NOT going to be fine after a fall. It is extremely depressing and makes me wonder why anyone would want to live a long life if falling is a constant worry.

We had ribs and salad for dinner. Went out early this morning for an Ikea pick-up, and then stopped at Target for some essentials I couldn't find at the store yesterday (looking at you, milk). We love our new cabinet. We have another that's exactly the same and part of a shelf set. They're so nice and sturdy because they're not particle board and bubble gum, they're actual wood.

Before Covid, I always tasted a blueberry to make sure they were firm. For the past few months, Costco has had amazing plump, firm and delicious blueberries. Sorry you got mushy ones. I hate mushy ones!
