When your 14 year old brings home every single number from his cross country meets. And then requests you put them all in your book. These things are huge! Any ideas how to incorporate them into a page? Or at least have them in them book?

Take pictures of them like parents do w kids art? Scan them and use as background? Take pics of them together, and a pic of him in track gear. Put those on your page along with the story. Put the tags he brought home into an envelope and tape it to the back of the page.

Would it fit in an 8.5x11 page protector? Or glue it to a piece of cardstock and punch holes in it to go into the album?

Make a waterfall flip-up thing with them all.
Use them as the background for a layout, with a small pic or journaling of the event on top.

Put them on a page with a pic of him from that XC meet with stats. Or, make a pocket to slip them all in, and put his season stats/times on the outside of the pocket and some pics of him on that page or the facing page. You can check athletic.net or trxc timing if your schools use those (many do) to pull times. They have both XC and track.
ETA: once my kiddo got in High school, he liked to put those bibs in his locker, so I stopped getting them, until maybe the end of the school year.

Pinterest didn’t have much for using the actual bibs, but I found this one. pin.it/5TJyZia

I use photo corners and affix them to the back of the page.

Photocopy & use as part of the background (the copy. Put the original in an envelope)
Photograph & put print on layout.

So many good ideas! He wants the actual bibs in the book so definitely a few ideas here that I can use. And a few I can do with a bit of planning for next year!

I would either make a waterfall layout at the end of each season with them, or put them all in a separate book just by themselves. Having a stats paper or writing on the back of each them to record stats.
