Welcome peas, to the weekly spotlight on a Pea project!
The intent is to highlight all the talent and variety of styles and projects on the board, recognize a deserving pea, and inspire our own creativity with challenges based on the project.
I really hope Peas will SHARE their creations with us - I will head to the Flickr gallery every week to choose a project, but will also keep my eye on the boards if Peas share their projects in other ways. I'd like to stay "recent" in these projects, but make no guarantees that I won't dive deeper into our past.
Please help me: if a Pea project catches YOUR eye and you think it deserves recognition, PM me and point me towards it!
This pea inspires me all. the. time.
As a matter of fact, I think I could use her layouts for POTW each and every week with a completely different sense of "inspiration" for each layout!
You can be sure you'll be seeing her work again because we can all learn so much from her amazing DESIGN CHOICES! Please welcome...AussieMeg !
This layout makes me so relaxed.

Why is it so relaxing?
1. single line of photos, no bumps and ups and downs to distract
2. gorgeous calming blues, greens, and neutral tans.
3. lots of "white space", not only surrounding the photo elements but also surrounding that central photo and journaling
What else do I love? That the papers could be scraps or 6x6 papers! Always a bonus!
The challenges I'm setting you from this page - take one, take two, try em all?
1. use this page as a sketch
2. use the colours on this page as your colour scheme
3. create a beachy page or card
4. use scraps or 6x6 papers to create strips through your photos or on your card front
5. use a scripty font in your title/sentiment
6. use journaling strips but use a heavy border/edging on each piece (or on your card, use a heavy edge/border around your sentiment)
*if you are on the challenge teams, completing any TWO of those challenges will fulfil this week's POTW challenge for 10 points!
