I put mine into a loose bun. I just use regular hair elastics and have not noticed any excessive damage to my hair.

For Peas with longer hair that prefer having it up at night, is there a good hair tie that will make nice curls when you undo it in the morning?
I have to have my hair up otherwise it tickles me & blows all over my neck & face.

Most nights I put it in a single braid down my back and leave it that way until I shower. I always wanted to grow my hair out and the pandemic did me that favor by keeping me away from temptation to get it cut. I love it and probably won't cut it anymore except maybe to trim the ends. It's about halfway down my back, not quite to my waist.

I put mine in a high ponytail with an invisibobble. Available at Target and Ulta. invisibobbleus.comOrder a pair of these off Amazon last night and got them this morning. My problem with using scrunches is they stretch out and don’t hold the hair anymore. Yeah, I am one of those who don’t lose them! I wear them out. I’ve been wearing one all day and it’s been great! Will see how it does overnight. I got the scrunching invisible bobble.

They’re good for putting over wrapping paper rolls.

I push it away from my face and go to sleep. When wet, it is almost to my midback. When dry it is shoulder length

I have a few of this invisibobble like things. Another brand from target. I think these: www.target.com/p/scunci-3-classic-color-spiral-twisters-6pk/-/A-52596924If I tie corral my hair at night it has to be loose of the tug/tension irritates me. The other problem I have with those things is my one kitten/cat. He's obsessed with them and will steal any left out anywhere. Heck they have to be behind a door or in container with lid or he will find them and make them his own. Today I brought out a container from my closet that had a few in it. He appeared out of nowhere and started fishing. Hemist smell them. Obsessed. Little weirdo. ETA if you have curly or wavy hair the stretching out hardly matters. They stay in because of the coils on colors, I think. I wonder if warm to hot water would do anything to return them to shape?

I wear a loose bun on top of my head at night. I have been wearing a ponytail every.single.day since March 2020, so wrinkles and dents in my hair don't really matter.

High loose ponytail tied with a long strip of T-shirt material (like a t-shirt scrunchie)

I wrap the T-shirt scrunchie down the length of my ponytail then twist it into a bun the wrap the last of the tie into a bun. I get big beautiful waves/curls as a result.

Either leave it down and be annoyed with it all night long or plop it way up high with a loose scrunchy.

Silk hair scrunchie for the win with longer hair. I wear them during the day as well as night. Slip Silk Scrunchies are considered to be the gold standard. Usually I sleep with my hair down, but I occasionally sleep with it in a high bun or ponytail. I bought some of the Slip Silk Scrunchies (but I got the super skinny ones, not the exact ones linked above). I wear those after I wash my hair and put it in a bun. They are awesome.

I use t-shirt scrunches low on my nape. They fall out thru the night but that’s better than tossing and turning and it getting caught under my shoulders.
The bobbles just rip my hair out.

I flip it up back behind on the pillow. Can't stand laying on it but don't want it *put up*..it's a few inches past my shoulders I actually do this too. I push it up so I am not laying on it, but that's really for when I lay in bed and start reading. Once I flip over (I'm a stomach sleeper), it's all loose and wherever it wants.

Just a bunch of enablers on this board! You all should be ashamed of yourselves! 😁😁😁I now am the proud owner of a dozen invisabobble scrunchies! Yep, that’s right-a dozen in all different colors and some prints, but at least five black. The hold my hair, don’t slide off, don’t pull, don’t give me a headache. Love them. Thanks for letting me know about these!
