What do you do with it when you sleep? My just below my shoulder length hair is suddenly getting on my nerves when I sleep. A pony tail or bun will just cause breakage. Is there a good hair wrap? Bonus points for a link

I put mine in a high ponytail with an invisibobble. Available at Target and Ulta. invisibobbleus.com

Mine is waist length. I let it flow free all night and then deal with the knots in the morning. Sometimes I'll put it in a high bun but make it loose. I don't usually braid it at all because i don't like the kink it gets the next day.

My hairdresser gave me a satin scrunchee that she said I should sleep in. I do a loose bun right on the top of my head. No breakage and gives me incredible volume the next day.

I have had long hair all my life. unless I am camping or backpacking, I just take out all ties and let it alone. backpacking, I braid it in two braids and take them out when I get home.. whether it is one night or 7 nights.

I put mine in a high ponytail with an invisibobble. Available at Target and Ulta. invisibobbleus.comI use the same thing. I was using a scrunchy, but I prefer the invisibobble. I cannot stand my hair in my face at night, and the curls need some control anyhow.

My hair is down to my rear, I put it up in a bun but no breakage. I use a scunci, but the thing is that I twist my hair and wrap it into a bun itself, then I wrap a fabric scunci around it twice, but not really at the base of the bun. The first wrap sort of goes loosely around the base, the second wrap goes around the bun itself.

Silk hair scrunchie for the win with longer hair. I wear them during the day as well as night. Slip Silk Scrunchies are considered to be the gold standard. These are very nice and less costly: Celestial Silk Mulberry ScrunchiesI have some of both and really can't tell that much of a difference, other than the inner band seems to stretch out a bit more on the less expensive ones.

Enabler. 😉 I went with the knock off. I pile my just below bra strap length hair on top of my head and use a cotton scrunchie, soon to be replaced with silk ones.

Mine is waist length. I let it flow free all night This! I am lucky and don't get serious knots or tangles, and I move around a lot when I sleep.

I put mine in a high ponytail with an invisibobble. Available at Target and Ulta. invisibobbleus.comI think it was peabay who mentioned getting these for stocking stuffers for her daughters. I had never heard of them and looked them up. I ordered some and found them really useful. I have to put my long hair into a ponytail at night to help hold my CPAP straps in the right position. Regular ponytail holders seemed to damage my hair too much, but these are kinder. I still get a few hairs wrapped around the coils of these, but no where near the amount that a regular holder gathered.

High pony tail or messy bun. I use ponytail holders- not special ones- and my hair seems fine. I wrap medium loose though.

I don't have very thick hair. I use a silk scrunchy at the nape of my neck because I use a CPAP machine and a Bluetooth eye mask at night.

I put mine in a high ponytail in a satin hair tie. Ever since doing this I’m able to wash my hair every other day. Before that it was way too messy and marred when I woke up.

I’ve never slept with my hair up, just always free, doing it’s own thing. It’s never bothered me.
It’s down to my bra strap on the back.

Nothing. My hair is halfway down my back. Once I tried braiding it but it drove me nuts! I got up in the middle of the night and took them out. It doesn't bother me.

My hair is curly - I put it up in a silk scrunchie and then a bonnet.

I also love that I can run them under hot water or zap them under the hair dryer to get them back into shape when they get stretched out.

My hair is past my bra line and I leave it alone at night. A ponytail or braid will squick me out!

I started using a satin hairband a couple of years ago and love it. I started putting it up in a bun when I started having hot flashes at night.

I put mine in a buff. I used to put it up in a high bun but since using the buff I love it.
