She really lays it all out. A lot of people blame Biden for inflation, and I suspect that is contributing to his poll numbers. It is also fair to say that Covid messaging has not been clear. They really need to fix that.
But it is strange-or maybe not so strange-that he has had a lot of accomplishments and yet his poll numbers are low.

President Biden and the Democrats really need to sell the infrastructure bill & Build Back better. They really need to brag about their accomplishments. And push back on all of the Republican criticism. It’s easy to be a Republican, just vote no and criticize without offering any ideas.
I’m hoping that DeSantis and former will fight with each other and tear the Republican Party apart. I really wanted to see a divergence from Trump and a return to more normal, but regrettably the Republicans have just doubled down and embraced Trump. I was optimistic that the Jan 6 commission would turn people away. But, too many Republicans believe the big lie. Now, I think our best hope is that the Republicans turn on each other.
Regrettably, there’s not a lot the President can do about inflation. But, they need to talk about it more and acknowledge the problem. I think they’ve started to do that. And hopefully, when the Fed raises interest rates, the situation will improve.
I think the next 5-6 weeks will be bad with covid. But there might be light at the end of the tunnel, if there isn’t another widespread variant. If we can reach the endemic stage of covid, people will be more optimistic and Biden’s poll numbers might improve.

It’s not what republicans “believe” it’s what they can SELL.
They get away with doing absolutely nothing by verbalizing fear, preying on the weak and stupid, grifting, getting their corporate donors to contribute $$$$ to keep them from being taxed and regulated.
They lie, cheat, bully steal to get their way.
