My LSS is having their quarterly garage sale this weekend. I’m definitely on the lookout for BASIC GREY and 7gypsies products. Any other suggestions for my wish list?
I am a long time scrapbook her with a huge stash but there’s always room for more.

I would look for things like adhesive refills, foam squares, etc. Things I know I will use up and have to replace.

I always look for things to add to collections - Sizzix dies for cutting chipboard, punches in basic shapes that I don't have etc
Then I look for things I want to try - but not at full price. Different brand stamps, ink pads, etc

I definitely look for older paper lines that I loved and missed, or those favourite brands that are out of business (for me, it's Sassafras Lass and Basic Grey).
I also look for stamps and basic punches...I can usually find good deals on these and will make use of them.
As someone else who is a long time scrapbooker with a stash that goes back for years, I try really hard to be selective. Sometimes it's hard to resist the good prices, but as someone who has trouble purging, I need to be careful what I bring in.

Yes! Making Memories & Cosmo Cricket.
Yes! Adhesive Refills - I still use repositional EK SUCCESS Herma Dots. I can never have enough.
Maybe good Alphabet Stamp Sets?
Maybe Studio Calico / 7Paper products? They used to have some good collections
It’s always fun to see what others have in their stash that they are willing to part with.

adhesives are always good ONLY if they haven't lost their stickiness. it's hard to tell when they are in packaging. foam is the worst. they may feel tacky but sometimes they are not tacky enough to hold for very long.
i like the older dies, too, for cutting thicker things. and who doesn't love paper? for me it's patterned cardstock. i can't get enough of that stuff. even if i can't use it on a page, i can turn it into an envelope for this or that.
i'm so jealous that you have an SB garage sale in your area. we don't have anymore stores much less those kinds of sales. i used to love going to them when the SB stores would host them.

Off-the-market/discontinued dies and punches and stamps. Creating Memories tools. EK Success tools or replacement blades.
Albums, page protectors.
I would avoid any pens or markers or any "wet" media like paints or spritzes or glazes or anything else that may have dried out--even if it is sealed in its original container.
If you buy stickers, be prepared to have to either fussy cut them off the sheets or to supplement the adhesive when you go to use them.

I usually look for tools, stamps, dies, and embossing folders. I avoid stickers and adhesive since I don't how well the products have been stored. I always end up buying paper though. Can you say addicted?

Good point about adhesives. I was thinking it was the store selling, but it sounds more like it’s crafters de-stashing?

I always go in looking for stamps, stencils, basic shim dies and brands such as Sassafrass Lass, Doodlebug and October Afternoon or collections that I missed out on in the past. I usually manage to grab a couple of of stampin up ink pads with the reinkers too. Stamps are usually my biggest focus and then everything else.

I used to look for stamps and punches.
I also lucked out at one LSS garage sale. A seller was redoing her storage, and I bought almost all of her Cropper Hopper paper storage containers. Most were the skinnier size, but I was fine with that. I also got a bunch of CH dividers at that sale too. Additionally, I've gotten other storage pieces at the garage sales.
Have fun!!

cmpeter- you that is exactly what it is. We have these here. I tend to only buy paper lines that I don't have, or that are from companies that are out of business. Scenic Route, Basic Grey, KI Memories. I just look for stuff that I like that I missed when it first came out. And I try to focus on stuff I know will match with my current stash.

I haven't seen Chatterbox mentioned.. I would look for that if you liked their stuff. I have actually fallen out of love with my Chatterbox. It's so thin, generally speaking. I like it enough that I'll keep what I have, but I can't see myself picking up more.

Tools. I scored my heat embossing gun at a garge sale for $3, back in 2006. Still going strong. I also got some CM shape cutters for next to nothing!
Stamps. I picked up some slightly used sets back in the day!
Paper. But I love paper, paper's my favorite. 😍
