I haven't ordered from Peachy Cheap in years but I just got back into more regular scrapbooking and wanted to pick up the Simple Stories travel kit they had in Jan. It was supposed to have foam stickers but I got puffy stickers instead. I already had those puffy stickers so I emailed the company.
I don't mind a switch but they could have let me know or given me an option for something else.
Is this common with them?
I don't think I ordered very many times in the past -- mostly for the October Afternoon stuff (of which I am a champion hoarder).

I've only ordered from them a few times and never got a substitution, but I do check their site daily and have noticed that sometimes the description will have a disclaimer that some items might be substituted, so maybe that's what happened? Hopefully another Pea can chime in with more info. Sorry you didn't get what you ordered, that's a bummer!

I've ordered a few times from Peachy Cheap and have had a substitution once. I had ordered a Christmas line of Shimelle's and they substituted some stickers. The stickers they subbed did at least coordinate color and theme so I was able to use them. Just a bit disappointed. They did have the disclaimer when I ordered so I wasn't too upset since I was aware it was a possibility.

I order fairly regularly and have not had a substitution as far as I know. But then again I never remember exactly what I ordered😉. I did order this and it came with the foam stickers so it sounds like they may have run out. But I agree they should have notified you.

They should have notified you and given you the option of canceling if those stickers were an important part of your order and you were not comfortable with a substitution. I guess they have an out if they indicated there *may* be a substitution and you were ok with that. I have ordered a fair amount from PC over the years and my biggest complaint with them was actually with the OA stuff, as it is not "first run" OA-they have purchased the licensing from OA for a couple lines and do their own printing. Apparently myself and a few others got a really botched printing job one time. PC was like, "Oh well, deal with it."  I was mad at the time, but guess not mad enough, as I have ordered the Lemon Twist and VB Fernwood from them since, lol...I have never had a substitution though. I think I might not order if they were stating that in the listing. |

I heard back from customer service and they refunded me $3.
They said it was a mistake.
So I think that's good customer service. They said they didn't have any more foam stickers in stock so it must have been a replacement.
So I'll keep ordering but I'll know for next time.
