I'm looking for Biden, USA, Covid, current events etc. The only thing that comes close is voting washing tape. Can anyone point me in the direction if you've seen any? Thank you!  |

I'm looking too...
Really wanted some washi that said "covid shutdown" (or similar) like a "do not cross" tape but made to fit the Covid theme. Or a series of words like shutdown, lockdown, cancelled etc. I just cannot find enough Covid accents to add to pages that were about things that were affected by Covid in some way--but not just a whole page about Covid.
Same with current events--there has been enough that happened that I do want to include to remember the context and this time frame...

I remember seeing a video several years ago of a crafter customizing her unloved washi tapes. She stuck strips of it to wax paper or something, and then painted ( or inked? ) on it and then stamped words and images on it. Something to consider if you don't find what you're looking for ready-made.

I never thought of DIY washi, but I may have to see if it can be done… I did see a WRMK electronic printing mini cube that can print on washi (or other things.) Kind of neat but I don’t know if I would like the app and if it would work long term due to needing updates to be phone compatible, etc. That’s without considering the price—and I know I would nowhere near use this enough to buy it. Maybe Espon (or some other company) could make printable washi (like on a card, not a roll) for the PM printer…wouldn’t that be fun?! |
