I have a Costco size tub of cream cheese that I want to use in a recipe that calls for the cream cheese that comes in cubes. Can I use it?

Yeah, except if you get the version that's whipped for easier spreading (like on bagels), I think it might night have the weight per volume that you'd need.

I think if you go by weight (and not measure) you would be ok in recipes. Some in tub are more airy (maybe whipped to spread easy) so if using in recipe, I'd weigh. If just using as spread, good to go.
