As I’m about to make some breakfast - curious what you put on your avocado toast. This morning I am using thin sliced Dave’s Killer Bread, mashed avocado, sprinkle of sea salt and a fried egg. I also love a drizzle of olive oil, sprinkle of cumin and pepitas. Love to hear your delicious ideas

avocado, cold smoked salmon, fried egg, microgreens I usually sprinkle some Balanced Bites Super Onion or Super Garlic on between the avocado and salmon and pepper and some flaked sea salt on the egg. I like to have protein, healthy fats, fiber and greens in all my meals, so just avocado and toast doesn't do it for me

I keep it simple. I like to use one of the sprouted breads from Trader Joes because they make fantastic, crunchy toast. I sprinkle on a little Penzey's seasoned salt and some red pepper flakes and that is usually it. Sometimes I'll add some chopped up grape tomatoes or very rarely, slices of hard boiled egg.

I also prefer a simple avocado toast. Dave's Killer Good Seed bread (the thin sliced one), mashed avocado, a drizzle of lemon juice and a little flake salt. Done.

Oh this thread has me wishing I had a ripe avocado in the house! I'm a simple one too. Just a smear of avocado and a sprinkle of Maldon salt. Good seedy bread. Or home made sour dough. and speaking of AT....what in the world is going on in with that being brought up into politics? I swear a saw a clip the other day of some Republican politician making fun of AT eaters.

I like to add a fried egg, elote seasoning, and pepper. Simple but a good breakfast or lunch.
If I am really thinking ahead and want to be fancy I’ll do mashed avocado, salt, pepper, micro greens, thinly sliced radish, cucumber ribbons, thinly sliced red onion, and crumbled goat cheese.

Certain people like to make fun of millennials not being able to afford homes because we like to go to brunch and eat avocado toast instead of saving for a mortgage. Instead of addressing rising costs, outrageous interest rates on student loans, and stagnant wages they just make fun of us for something that brings us a little joy 😉

The Italian bread in the bakery section of Whole Foods. Hold the avocado. Substitute really good butter. I’ve really tried to like avocado. I just can’t. But I love reading about what other people eat. Some of these sound like so much food! Like a dinner.

Haven't had any for a long time though--might have to go look for an avocado!

I had amazing avocado toast when I was in Denver a few weeks ago downstairs from my hotel - they used this incredible thick French bread, smashed avocado and then some sort of spice blend. Delicious. It was $9 for one slice though! Lol

Toasted slice of home made bread (rye and bread flour with bread spices ), guac (I'm lazy), and a sliced hard boiled egg. Topped with "avocado seasoning" that my sister sent me.

Last time I was back in Australia, I had an awesome Avo toast that had feta cheese mixed in with the avocado, then chilli flakes and a soft poached egg on top, all on toasted sourdough.
I am also now planning to message my DS so he can book us on for brunch at that cafe the weekend we arrive on March!

Originally (or at least I think originally) it came from an Australian millionaire who said it. money.cnn.com/2017/05/15/news/millennials-home-buying-avocado-toast/index.html

Mostly I put a fried egg on my avocado toast. I also like chopped cherry tomatoes with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and some shredded Parmesan cheese. Always salt and pepper. Yum!

Everything But the Bagel seasoning is so good with avocados. I like it with an egg on top, also. It requires a nice, seeded, sturdy bread.

@oh Yvonne
and speaking of AT....what in the world is going on in with that being brought up into politics? I swear a saw a clip the other day of some Republican politician making fun of AT eaters.
Rubio: “Last week, the Vice President of the United States told us that a riot which happened here at the U.S. Capitol last year was equal to the day on which Japan attacked us at Pearl Harbor and the U.S. was pulled into a world war that took the lives of 3% of the world's population.
And yesterday, we were treated to the President telling us that election laws that have been passed by various states across the country over the past year are the equivalent of the segregation that existed in America in the 1950s, 1960s, and before.
If your daily routine is to wake up in the morning and turn on MSNBC as you ride your Peloton, and then go on Twitter as you’re drinking your caramel macchiato, and then you’re reading the New York Times and as you’re eating your avocado toast, I imagine all of this makes perfect sense to you.

Toasted sourdough. Olive oil whipped ricotta with Maldon sea salt and black pepper. Smashed avocado. Everything bagel seasoning and one more drizzle of olive oil.
I mean it’s so good so many ways, but that’s my go to.
