donna was a long time Pea who was taken from us long before her time. Her last scrapbooking effort had been to complete her kids' albums before time ran out. Many Peas, coordinated by jenjie and myboysnme, helped with that project. A Pea we have not heard from in a long while, kiwigirl, set up this challenge to keep Donna's memory alive.
So now we honour her memory by getting our own photos onto scrapbook pages while WE have time to do that. Each month we set a challenge to get those photos glued onto pages. And we also have a theme.
This month, our theme is TOGETHER. Over these past couple of years we have learned to appreciate those times when we can connect with family and friends, in whatever way we can. If we are lucky enough to gather in person or on line, we cherish those times. Hopefully we take the time to snap a photo or two.
So scrap something about being together, however or whenever that happened. It could be via Zoom or some other platform, or it could be up close and personal. And take this extra opportunity to savour the joys of shared laughter, shared stories, maybe shared food and beverage. Did we realize before Covid how precious those moments would be?
If you are playing for points, count each LO celebrating togetherness as TEN points. As always, count each photo attached to a scrapbook page at one point each.

Here is my LO for this challenge. Not only was the mere fact that we managed to gather four households together that day, we had to move the celebration to a different home because of plumbing issues. Nothing was going to stop me from getting these cousins into one room! Together by Gramma Dee, on Flickr As an added bit of togetherness, I combined papers and elements from a myriad of different sources here, using up alot of the bits and pieces on and around my scrap counter from my frenzy of holiday page making!

It was lovely to actually go out to celebrate my sister's birthday after nothing in 2020.

I love this theme, here's my LO that meets the Donna challenge - I jacked up the journaling trying to hand write it on the page, so resorted to journaling strips to cover that up lol. Seize the day by Joyfulnana, on Flickr

Sorry I missed your gorgeous page, thracian ! Love all the greens, especially that tilted piece behind the photo. One good thing COVID did—and probably the ONLY one—was to make these opportunities for togetherness so much more precious. Left love for your page in the Gallery, but I laughed when I saw your post here, joyfulnana. We really need a scrappy blooper or out takes kinda thread. So many ways to mend something and make it look like “I meant to do that!”
