UPDATE: Greitens. This is new info ... Trump-loving Senate candidate faces horrific allegations of beating his children in new court documentsBrad Reed March 21, 2022 Newly revealed court documents show that Trump-loving Missouri Senate candidate Eric Greitens has been accused of physically abusing both his ex-wife and their children. *** In early June 2018, I became afraid for my safety and that of our children at our home, which was fairly isolated, due to Eric’s unstable and coercive behavior,” Sheena Greitens alleged in the filing. “This behavior included physical violence toward our children, such as cuffing our then three-year-old son across the face at the dinner table in front of me and yanking him around by the hair.” Sheena Greitens also detailed an alleged incident in which one of her children came home with serious injuries after a visit with their father, as the child returned with "a swollen face, bleeding gums, and a loose tooth" that later had to be removed. *** Greitens also claimed that her husband would repeatedly threaten to kill himself if she did not support him during the scandal that ended his tenure as Missouri governor. www.rawstory.com/eric-greitens-2657003841/#cxrecs_sonelasttime

This is typical answer from dumpster don when you ask him to be specific. The man does not have the ability to provide a coherent answer to anything specific. He never has.

T-rump's blathering always sounds like a not-too-bright 4-year-old. I wish people would stop asking his opinion, since he never has anything useful to add & also thrives on the attention. Ignore the idiot, please, so he'll wither from lack of narcissistic supply.

One more in Greitens and I'm done with him.. Greitens tried to do damage control by appearing on Steve Bannon's "War Room" podcast, where he claimed that the accusations of spousal and child abuse were concocted by the "RINO" establishment to discredit him. Scandal-plagued Missouri Senate candidate Eric Greitens on Monday reacted angrily after his former wife leveled horrific allegations of abuse against him. Greitens went on to directly accuse McConnell of being behind the allegations against him, including ones about physically harming his then-three-year-old son. "My ex-wife was in Washington D.C., meeting with political operatives, and just this morning they launched a series of false allegations against us," he said. www.rawstory.com/eric-greitens-2657008217/

Isn't he a great guy, NOT!! According to The Times of Northwest Indiana, Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) told reporters in a conference call that he would support the Supreme Court overturning the 1967 Loving v. Virginia decision, which struck down state bans on interracial marriage. Braun initially limited his claim to the national right to abortion established by the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision he hopes the current, more conservative, Supreme Court will overturn in coming months when it rules in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization," reported Dan Carden. "But, when asked by The Times, Braun admitted there are many Supreme Court decisions he believes improperly established federal rights that would be better handled on a state-by-state basis, including Loving v. Virginia that legalized interracial marriage, and Griswold v. Connecticut (1965) establishing a right to privacy concerning contraceptive use." "We're better off having states manifest their points of view, rather than homogenizing it across the country as Roe v. Wade did," said Braun. He added specifically that he is fine with interracial couples getting married in one state only for another state to refuse to recognize their marriage: "This should be something where the expression of individual states are able to weigh-in on these issues through their own legislation, through their own court systems. Quit trying to put the federal government in charge."Braun came under controversy last year for allegedly loaning his campaign millions of dollars from his auto parts business, which would be illegal. When caught, Braun blamed the whole thing on an accountant whom he claims "vanished" and was unable to contact, although reporters figured out how to contact him in three minutes. www.rawstory.com/mike-braun/*** UPDATE: Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) on Tuesday scrambled to backtrack after he said earlier in the day that he believed states should be allowed to ban interracial marriage. In a statement provided to NBC News congressional reporter Julie Tsirkin, Braun claimed that he "misunderstood" a reporter's question about whether he'd be fine with the Supreme Court reversing its past precedent by leaving the issue of interracial marriage up to individual states. www.rawstory.com/mike-braun-2657019294/

Utah Gov vetoes anti trans sports bill There will be an override of his veto... Utah's GOP governor explains why he vetoed anti-trans bill: 'Rarely has so much fear been directed at so few' Bob Brig March 22, 2022 Utah Gov. Spencer Cox vetoed a ban on transgender students playing girls' sports on Tuesday, becoming the second Republican governor this week to overrule state lawmakers taking on youth sports amid broader culture wars as LGBTQ visibility grows," the Associated Press reported Tuesday. "Cox joins Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb, who vetoed a statewide ban on Monday. Holcomb said Indiana's Legislature had not demonstrated that transgender kids had undermined fairness in sports." www.rawstory.com/utah-s-gop-governor-explains-why-he-vetoed-anti-trans-bill-rarely-has-so-much-fear-been-directed-at-so-few/

This is why one should look at the big pucture and not just the “excerpts”.
From the article..
“Opinion: The real story about crime Republicans won’t tell you”
By Jonathan Capehart Columnist
“McConnell’s line of attack dovetails with the fearmongering at Fox News and on the right that crime is flourishing in places run by Democrats. This tactic is as predictable as it is tiresome. It’s also only half the story; Republicans are conveniently ignoring the even sorrier state of many places where they’re in charge.
“We are in the middle of a violent crime wave including soaring rates of homicides and carjackings,” McConnell droned during a floor speech March 15. “Amid all this, the soft-on-crime brigade is squarely in Judge Jackson’s corner.” What McConnell doesn’t tell you is that his home state of Kentucky has the third-highest homicide rate per capita in the United States. In fact, eight of the 10 states with the highest homicide rates in 2020 voted that year for Donald Trump.”
&
“This startling data is revealed in a new report from centrist think tank Third Way. Mississippi leads the way with a 2020 homicide rate of 20.5 per 100,000 residents, the report says, and “the five states with the highest murder rates, all Trump-voting states, had rates at least 240 percent higher than New York’s murder rate and at least 150 percent higher than California’s.”

Meadows does not own this property and never has. It is not clear that he has ever spent a single night there. Mark Meadows now under investigation from NC state officials over shady voter registration address Debra Meadows appears to have filed at least two false voter forms "Three months after this interview, on Oct. 26, Mark Meadows’s wife, Debra, appeared at the Macon County community building in Franklin, N.C., and filled out a one-stop voter application to cast an early ballot in the 2020 presidential election.,,, On her one-stop application, provided this week by the North Carolina Board of Elections to The Fact Checker, Debra Meadows certified that she had resided at a 14-by-62-foot mountaintop mobile home for at least 30 days — even though she did not live there. At the top of the form is a notice that “fraudulently or falsely completing this form” is a Class I felony. This form is the latest in a string of revelations concerning the former chief of staff — who echoed President Donald Trump’s false claims of election fraud in 2020 — and his wife. The New Yorker first reported that Mark and Debra Meadows submitted voter registration forms that listed as their home a mobile home with a rusted metal roof that sold for $105,000 in 2021, even though they had never lived there. North Carolina officials announced last week that Mark Meadows is under investigation for potential voter fraud." www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/03/23/debra-meadows-appears-have-filed-three-false-voter-forms/?tid=ss_tw

While he should have already suspected this, it’s certainly clear he isn’t up with what’s in the news before flapping his gums.
From CNN…
CNN Business — “The US oil industry doesn’t appear to be in any rush to come to the rescue of Americans struggling with high gas prices. Oil company CEOs say Wall Street is to blame.
Fifty-nine percent of oil executives said investor pressure to maintain capital discipline is the primary reason publicly traded oil producers are restraining growth, according to a Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas survey released Wednesday.
For years, the boom-to-bust oil industry spent lavishly to fund all-out production growth. US oil output skyrocketed, keeping prices low. Yet sustaining profits proved elusive. Hundreds of oil companies went bankrupt during multiple oil price crashes, leading investors to demand more restraint from energy CEOs.”
In other words, keeping the price of oil high is in the best interests of the investors.
By the way, this is another reason the world needs to pick up the pace of moving away from fossil fuels.
