The threads about finding lost people has me wondering, do you use your pea name elsewhere online? Does it lead back to "the real" you? This is the only place I've ever used MichyM. So on a whim I just googled it. A couple of random things came up that aren't mine/about me and that's it. I then googled a couple of other peas' with unique screen names. One took me directly to another site where that person also used/uses their real name along with their peas screen name. The second one led me to an old (totally good-natured as far as I could see, I didn't dig deeply tho) pea blog that I never knew about. It's a synopsis of the weekly goings-on at the original 2Peas NSBR board and totally cracked me up. The apparent owner of that blog is still a pea  I set this up as a poll, because I'd imagine those who's Pea names also leads to other info probably don't want to answer directly, KWIM? |

I used to on another crafty forum, but I don’t go there any more. I try not to post anything too incriminating! It slightly scares me when I think about how long I’ve been on the internet and how much is out there from me.

Nope. Mine is unique to this site. It’s my first name, but a very common one. Lol, there are three people with my exact full name that use my local cvs.

No. But I know there is someone else who uses this same name somewhere. Many many years ago when I went to CKU I tried signing up for something (an attendee message board, maybe?) with this name and it was taken! So somewhere out there is an imposter.

Nope. I don’t use my Pea name, or any other name (including my old Pea name), anywhere else online.
A search of my real name does bring up some of my work from when I was a journalist, and I have used my first name as a sign of good faith in special circumstances with two Peas, but I’ve only used my full irl name etc with one Pea.
However, I’ve just googled and found there are other auntiepeas out there - including a company in California selling flannels for babies?!

Mine is my name… so, yeah.
(I had an anonymous user name that I used at multiple sites, but when I became a Garden Girl they asked us to change it to our real name, and I’ve never switched back. I’m not as nervous as some about someone “finding out” who I am, because it has always been easy.)

Not that I remember. Ha. In all honesty, I “think” I may have used the same name in a now long defunct Texas Photography Forum. But I really don’t remember. That photo forum crashed and burned over 10 years ago. So there’s a remote possibility it may show up in the way back machine, but I must admit that I don’t even remember the real full name of that board.
I think it’s safe to say that if you find this name someplace on the Internet, in all likelihood it’s not me.

I voted no at first. But, then I googled my peaname. Lots of hits, only one of which were mine (apparently many years ago I used it for my gallery at scrapbook.com)...I didn't even remember I had a gallery there.

My Pea name = my initials. And I use that or variations on many sites. But I figure that 3 consecutive letters of the alphabet are not very easy to google. And I don't care if people "recognize" me from one site to another since I am unfailingly my own boring self and it's not like there is anything scandalous to be revealed. At worst, a heated debate over pressing seam allowances together vs. open on a quilting board might show up.

I just googled my name and there are thousands of hits. Unless I’m a civil engineer, rescue pets in Arkansas, like to gossip about Pippa Middleton etc. none are me. My 2 Peas acct is there so y’all feel free to haunt me if you wish. 😂

Teacherlisa is what my cool preschool kids used to call me when I was teaching, and when 2peas and other message boards came into existence. I use the name everywhere and I no longer teach lol. It can be confusing to people who met me after my teaching career ended.

Nope. I lurked for a while before I joined the old board and learned that the old peas were crazy enough I didn't want to be easily traceable. I have another username that I use at multiple places, but this one is just for the peas.

No, I only use it here.
I googled, and my user name shows that there is a blog or two with the same name. I have never blogged.
When I registered here, I changed my user name.
Many years ago(1998), when I was new to the internet, someone told me "for safety reasons" do not use the same password for everything. So when I found message boards, I used a different user name and password for each one.
I can't remember my old user name on two peas. It was something scrapbook related.

I am a political activist from Brazil... except im not... just a production line worker in texas...
And the names I use on other message boards are car parts or a made up dugger name

Google does insist that I must be a rapper though LOL! A google also brought up that blog too. That was so funny when it was around and I've just spend time reading one of the post (that mentions me) again and LOL - so funny and very well written, with no malice.
