I googled mine and had no idea TinCin was a racehorse. There are a lot of tincins.

I use it on the Disney boards, but that is it. Instagram is a cat name, Pinterest is different cat name and Facebook is completely random made up name. I googled Skellinton, but it just pulled up a bunch of merch people trying to dodge the Disney lawyers by misspelling Skellington.

I don’t and I just goggled. There’s a YouTube and a Tik Tok account using this name.
I changed my user name a few years ago because my daughter had no contact with my granddaughter’s dad and I used to post frequent photos of her. Ally now has a relationship with him and I think I’d like to go back to myself!

I used my username all over. I’m very unoriginal. It’s even part of my email.

no, my initial pea name was merrick.
i tweaked it when splitting from my ex. i didn't go into many specifics here during that 2 yrs but did confide enough (he knew i was on this board) that i didn't want him to be able to see what i was saying. mainly though, it was a tough time and having to stay in the same house for so long, i became pretty paranoid.
too much credit though, he didn't care what i was saying, he was not observant enough to know what the site was so.... probably not necessary.
and i have not used either versions of this username anywhere else.
ETA: googled and rickmer rickmers is a 1896 sailing ship that is now a tourist destination in hamburg germany. who knew??

I had it listed as texascrap and texasscrap elsewhere in a few places and then changed it a few years back. I just googled and all I can find is Texas salvage companies so I think I am good .

There is a graphic novel series called Artbabe. If you google artbabe you will only get hits for that. I do use artbabe in real life but I'm not going to say where because I don't want people to go real life on me. After the Mrs. Tyler fiasco I'm cautious.
I use other names for my other social media because artbabe is usually already taken.
I used to be kitschwitch on the old two peas. I liked that name but when the board got screwed up I couldn't get back into my name for some reason so I just made another name.

I just Googled my username here and see that there are several other people with profiles using that exact same username elsewhere who are definitely not me. I hope no one stalks them IRL thinking they’re me, LOL. This is the only place online (well, this and the original 2Ps) where I have ever used this username, so finding a match in other places could be misleading.

I googled luckyjune. I guess there is a band with the same name. I chose it because I had twins on the 13th of June. Flipping the narrative on the 13th being an unlucky day.
And yes, my twins turned 13 on Friday, June 13...

I didn't respond to the poll as I'm really not sure. Not on FB (real name) or YT (odd made up name). But it would be easy to find me because my name is so rare (I'm the only one in the world thanks to a last name that's dying out).
My feeling is, if someone REALLY wants to find me, they will. I'm not bothered.

I must have been taking time away from PeaLand at the time that went down. And to be honest I didn't pay much attention to her in the first place. She wasn't my cup of tea. Anyhow, I've seen references here over the years, but after all this time would like to know the details. Yep, I'm being nosy. All I know is that apparently someone contacted her employer? Also, how long ago was this?

The second one led me to an old (totally good-natured as far as I could see, I didn't dig deeply tho) pea blog that I never knew about. It's a synopsis of the weekly goings-on at the original 2Peas NSBR board and totally cracked me up. The apparent owner of that blog is still a pea I clicked on dottyscrapper's link, how can you tell which pea owns that blog?

Mrs. Tyler was a teacher. It was clear that she was pea-ing during school hours, probably class time though she claimed it was her planning time/lunch hours. Someone contacted her school administration. Seems like she was expressing opinions that were not seemly for a teacher too. There may have been other nuances but that's what I recall as a very peripheral pea present at the time.

Also, how long ago was this? She was a teacher in Minnesota and pissed someone off so they called her principal and reported her for being on the board during the school day and saying not nice things about parents and students. I thought she revealed too much back then but whoever outed her was the one in the wrong. It made everyone realize what you say on here can be used against you.

I have used it as my game name on a few of the iPad app games I play - Junes Journey and Klondike I think.
But not in any other message board.

Wow. So she complained about specific students and/or parents here? I am shocked (I know, I know, I can’t help myself) that someone actually called her school. So Mrs T came here and shared that info on the board, then left?
And the person who did this was never outted?

She complained about kids and parents, but I don't think she said names, just generally complained. I also don't recall if she shared the specific name of the school or it was just easy to figure out given all the details she listed and the fact that she used her real name.

Don’t believe she came to this board when the old one closed down…well as her Mrs Tyler I’d anyway. She may not have given her school name but she did post her full name, state and had her real pic as her avatar. If you googled that her teacher website and Facebook pages came up. Both of which were wide open back then.

I use another variation of my pea name on instagram, but not this exact one. If you google there will be many Gypsy Girl accounts out there, even a song by Steven Tyler. None of them are me though.

There are several Elizabeths out there using Ms Liz. It's not very original, but hey, it's fun. It rhymes. I get the appeal.
I googled it years ago and found a porn actress using it, but thankfully that wasn't among the top hits in today's search.

The only Peasapie reference I find when I google the name is a race horse. I picked that name specifically for Pea-land. Now that I’m in my 60s, I should probably change it to Peasalot. Remembering about Mrs Tyler reminds me of the pea who posted a picture of “herself” and then was somehow outed as being fictitious. I don’t recall her name. So many memories here.

In the early days of everyone being on the internet (early 90s for me) it was hard to know how much was ok to share about yourself and what was risky. My first year of being online was education/work related and we were strictly warned to never ever reveal anything that could lead back to you personally, which is a bit ironic since I was basically doing searches using Boolean logic for library patrons and city staff -- nothing remotely personal to me. By the time I had kids and was hitting Momsonline on AOL in 1997-98 ish there were people sharing their birth plans and breastfeeding schedules using thinly disguised names and their real small town locations. There was one very popular poster who lived in Port Angeles and once while on a day trip I ran into her on the street and recognized her. I have a weirdly retentive memory for random stuff, so I had instant recall of some very personal postings, her kids' names, stuff about her husband and MIL. . . That encounter set me up to be somewhat cautious about what I was willing to share online, and I created some rules for self about levels of information sharing. If I wouldn't share it with someone I just met at a party, I wouldn't share it on a forum. If I wouldn't post it on my whiteboard at my workplace, I wouldn't put it on FB. Stuff like that. Over time I've shifted my rules, but I do have a back-of-the-mind framework of what is ok to put out there and what I just won't.

I use mine quite a bit but when I googled it I'm not any of the people that came up. Googling my full name used to come up with my old workplace, some petitions I signed and a few other things so I've tried harder to become anonymous in recent years.

This reminded me of something that happened to my son almost 15 years ago. I had totally forgotten about it. He was 17 and in NYC (from Seattle) on his own for a few days for an audition, and was walking along when a woman (who was a pea and a FB friend) recognized him from photos I’d posted on the photog board and on FB, and flagged him down. I don’t recall much of what he told me of the encounter, other than it was very awkward for him. She lived in another state far away, so he had no idea who she was and why she knew him. To be clear, as far as I know she’s the nicest person ever 🤷🏼♀️ Lucky for him, he left for college shortly thereafter so I barely posted any photos of him after that 😏
