Carpet. It came with the house. I really want to replace it, preferably with a laminate.

Wait, y'all don't have paper all over your floors like I would if I had a dedicated scraproom? I often DO have paper scattered on the floor. That is one of the joys of a dedicated crafting room: just close the door and walk away LOL.

I try to keep my room pretty neat and tidy as it's right off the front door/foyer as you come in the house - right now...no one is coming in the house but one day...the pandemic will be over and we can invite people over again.

I have carpet, but my dream room is a hard surface that is easy to clean mixed media off of.

Previously, cement, as I was in the basement.
But as of today, squeeee, my scrap space has moved up a level into my family room (I am pee my pants excited!!) Back to the question, my flooring is LVP. I'm excited about the easy cleanup aspect, nervous because it's brand new and I don't want to do anything to damage it! Then I remind myself LVP is like a modern version of the linoleum I grew up with, and that stuff was tuuuuuuuuff.

I have laminate and like it a lot. My feet get cold easily but I have nice, warm slippers.

I have a concrete floor. It is covered with scraps of all sorts of materials. I keep telling myself to vacuum it up, but he never does. I also had a thought of just covering over everything on the floor with an epoxy and calling it "Art".

What flooring do you have where you craft? My room is converted from an office space that has wall to wall grey Berber carpeting. It is nice on my feet and legs—I stand to scrap—but is NOT fun to vacuum. The little bits and pieces get themselves tangled in the carpet loops, and I have to crawl around picking them up with my fingers before going over with the power nozzle. And even if I don’t see anything to pick up, I need to make absolutely sure no tiny dies are stuck in the carpet. I put down wood floor from ikea. It’s easier to clean up the glitter 😂

I currently live in an apt and have carpet flooring which I hate. In the future I'm hoping to get back to wood or maybe vinyl planking. A friend has the planking throughout her house and loves it.
Also: Don, you are a true artist! Just how much epoxy would that take?

I used to have hardwood, but we recently moved and now have carpet. A very plush one, at that. So I’m dreading vacuuming. But on the plus side, it has flecks of gray, black, and white in it, so any stains are hard to see.
