The next pinkfresh virtual event for may 21 and 22nd you can start signing up tomorrow through next week. The price is $225 plus shipping for $350 worth of product and 5 classes. The last event they did was awesome. Each class you got a stamp, die and stencil plus they gave you extra dies like blanket stitched dies, a hot foil plate and some embellishments.

Its tempting... I would have to decide to do this one or the Crop and Create cardmaking in October. Decision, Decision...

Also interested in signing up, but wondering if the extra supplies will be worth it. I also don't have any interest in hot foiling, so a bit concerned that that will be a huge waste. Can you use hot foil dies for normal die cutting?

Can you use hot foil dies for normal die cutting? Hot foil plates are more like metal stamps, rather than metal dies, if that makes sense. The class description mentions "we will share a dry embossing technique", so there are alternatives to hot foiling using the plates. I love stamp sets that have coordinating stencils and dies, so I'm seriously considering this class...

Pink Fresh is GORGEOUS; however, I feel that I get more variety out of the Crop and Create events as the companies involved are so diverse. I also don't want hot foil plates because I don't plan to jump into that technique and they are so pricey...I don't need an overpriced embossing folder

kitbop thats exactly what I'm thinking, I love Pinkfresh designs but the crop and create has 10 different companies.

It's the opposite for me! I already know I like the Pinkfresh style, so it feels like less of a gamble that I will get stamps or dies that I won't use (except for the hot foil die, I won't be using that at all!). Given the new rules about reselling supplies from Crop and Create, I feel hesitant to sign up for a box that costs so much. Speaking of which, I wonder if there are any rules/expectations about selling supplies from this event...

I did they first event back in November and really enjoyed it. From the description it seems like they are doing a lot of the same things that worked for the first event.
The hot foil plate will come with the kit. In the event we used it to dry emboss a background and it was great.
This one looks like they are adding a bonus lesson at the end IF you do have hot foil machine and supplies you can follow along for that too.

I wish I could sign up for this one as I've become obsessed with hot foiling and Pink Fresh! Their layered stencils are great too, but alas I have to save my money so I can fly home to see my mom before the cancer takes her. Hopefully they will continue to have these so I can join in another time.
Any of y'all that do sign up please post pictures of your projects!

I signed up immediately. I loved their event last year, and felt it was definitely worth the price. I then also fell down a massive Pinkfresh rabbit hole and bought tons of their inks and other coordinating sets.

I absolutely loved the products we got as well as the classes! I've signed up for this next too.

I signed up for the event, but was out of town last weekend. I hope to get to the classes this weekend. I can say, the box was generous and beautiful. The swag gifts were a brass sequin/gems tray and a very pretty floral storage bag.

I signed up and did most of the classes this past weekend. I didn't complete the last two classes (yet).
There were some technical struggles with some of the videos (live Zoom over Facebook). Cards are beautiful, but you must really like florals. Love how they have the suites of stamps, dies, stencils, etc. Loved the pace (two hour classes with two cards per class) followed by a 1 hour break. One extra make-n-take for each class to complete on your own.
That being said...I do prefer the SCT card making class. I like the variety. I feel you get more for your buck. Video quality was better. the instruction booklet is provided (full color printed and bound). With Pink Fresh, they just sent the .pdf. SCT has a REALLY packed schedule. Not an issue, since everything is recorded. But, I'm exhausted after. :-)

I have not done the classes yet but I love pinkfresh bd the products they included were awesome. They also redid the videos that had issues so those watching on replay can have really good quality videos to do the projects. I much prefer not doing things live.
The retail value of the items is extremely generous and I love everythjng.

Thank you ! peasquared and scrappinheather have fun watching and creating your cards. cmpeter thank you for the detailed response. I was wondering if I should skip the spring sct's C&C and maybe do this one if they have it again. But there is not a lot of pictures of projects that I can find and what I do find are all florals. I think I like that C&C has a mixture of different styles. So I'm thinking to stick with SCT. Did you learn anything new? Or tried new techniques?
