Ki Memories were my jam back in the day. Scrapbook supplies were a lot harder to get back then or the stores were just smaller to what we have now and KI Memories seemed to stand out from the rest for me. When they released the Love, Elsie collections especially Roxie it was like a line had finally been made that matched with me. I still have a few sheets floating through my stash and use sparingly. I also really miss October Afternoon and I wish they would reprint some of the collections that are able to be accessed by all (Peachy Cheap does not ship internationally) the lines have not aged at all. Sassafras Lass was another love, I do have a ton of paper from them though. Would love to see someone make the foldies lines again. Bam Pop, the papers were so fun and different. Hambly, all those different acetate sheets. I loved the rub ons but they were AWFUL and I could never use them at all.

So I just used old valentines papers from scenic route, cosmo cricket and KI memories to make valentines for my college DD and her friends. Honestly it was so fun to finally let myself use the papers and play!

I miss the old My Mind's Eye papers. I used to look forward to their releases so much, and when The Sweetest Thing was released, I bought a ton to make my wedding album with!

I don't remember Love Elsie. artbabe Would you mind sharing your layout? Although, it might make me sad because I can't get any of it! The beautiful thing about the Love, Elsie stuff is you could counterfeit a lot of it in style <3 I really loved her stuff and miss her scrapbook designing! I posted about this recently to ask about folk with a similar style. I dug out her old challenge book and still love it as much now as I did when I bought it. Some of my favourite LOs are ones inspired by those challenges. I got a couple of suggestions, but would love more ideas of who to watch on YouTube who has a similar style.

I’ve been sifting through my old stack of 12x12 papers to do Shimelle’s quadrant layout assignment and chuckling over the oldies stashed in there. My stash isn’t THAT big, and boy is it eclectic. 😆 The B side of an old Making Memories will finally fulfill its scrappy destiny as a photo mat.

I really miss October Afternoon. And Scenic Route. Gosh those were my two favorite companies and I would buy multiples of each paper and embellishment.

I was a QuicKutz Club Member and man did we have some fun classes and events with the guys. I won a ton of stuff from them when they visited Cracker Jacks Too/Collective Journey back in the day. We got a % off new releases and could access them before others.
And yes, Sassafrass Lass!!!

I just used a Basic Grey paper (from the Persimmon line) on a page about jury duty. I didn’t have any thing justice-y in my stash but the photos were from October (lots of leaves outside the courthouse) and the paper was fall colors but not cute or farmhouse. It worked out great.
I think I used my last piece of Cosmo Cricket not too long ago. That was not as easy to work with as BG or OA but still different than anything recent.
If I had a time machine…

I think I used my last piece of Cosmo Cricket not too long ago. That was not as easy to work with as BG or OA but still different than anything recent. I bought a couple of 6x6 pads in a destash sale a couple of years ago so I'm still using them fairly regularly, and pulled out a couple of pieces for a page I did over the weekend. I've really enjoyed playing with the older things in my stash and find that, outside of the couple of companies I really love, I now buy the neutrals that help me use my older stash.

I started scrapbooking in 1999 so my stash is a graveyard (RIP) of discontinued companies & product lines. It feels good when I find the right pictures/layout to do them justice. I love those old papers but back then some of them used to print the manufacturer's name on the front of the paper.
O'Scrap Daisy D's KMA (Keeping Memories Alive) Provocraft (they had really cute patterned paper and pads) KI Memories Zipemate (they made my favorite alphabet dies) Gone Scrappin was an online store but they also sold their own products Frances Meyer All My Memories Making Memories Pebbles (before they were bought by AC) MAMBI (I liked those stick kids) Cosmo Cricket Sassafrass Lass Paper Patch Paper Pizazz (checking if you are still reading, most of their stuff was ugly) Mrs Grossman stickers (just kidding) October Afternoon that weird name company by Heidi Sonboul (Chickaniddy?) GCD Studios 3 Bugs in a Rug Nikki Sivils My Little Shoebox Rusty Pickle (?!) Arctic Frog Chatterbox Lily Bee Jillibean Soup (are they done?) October Afternoon Beary Patch Cut outs CockaDoodle Design Debbie Mumm Susan Branch Northern Spy Mary Englebreit
I also miss the magazines and the big craft days on QVC. But most of all I miss my local scrapbook stores, at one time I had 6 lss now there are NONE.

I found all my Sassafras Lass, Bam Pop and Hambly paper/transparencies! I still love it all.
