What did you think about the new kits?
New kits
Fearless - I like this one. It seems to be more like the old "boy oriented" kits than what they've released lately. I like the cogs and charms. Actually, I like everything about this kit except it doesn't have the usual diecut word.
Playtime - I like this one too. I especially like the Mintay paper- they seem to be using a lot of Mintay. The colors are really pretty. My only hesitation on this kit was that almost everything requires fussy cutting.
True Love - I do like the red, white, and blue color scheme. Not the tradition pink Valentine's stuff. The ability to select your stamps is nice, too. I like the candy heart dies but I don't have a manual diecut machine.
Tranquility - This one is pretty nice, too. I like the texture stamp and the very pale color scheme is pretty.
Overall, I liked this release. I still wish they had the bigger kits and I'm more a fan of the more masculine kits but this isn't too bad.
I ended up getting Fearless and Playtime. I didn't need the Valentine's one and it included stamps and dies and I don't use those much/not at all. I didn't get Tranquility because, although I loved how it looked, I didn't need any more floral/vintage stuff at the moment. It is so pretty, though.
I didn't get as many a la carte items this time- just two cardstock cuts (I don't own a Cricut yet), a couple acrylic words, and some sequins. I already own a ton of their sequins and finishing touches and use them all of the time. I wish I bought the diecuts with the dinosaurs- I hope they still have them next month when I place my next order.
Anybody else buy anything?
