I'm looking to place an order from the US to pick up on some of the Black Friday sales...but I have no idea what kind of kraft cardstock I should buy! I've only ever ordered extras from Studio Calico to come with my kits - and I love it - but can someone recommend an alternate brand?

I love the Bazzill Kraft. I'm not sure how to describe it but it has some speckles (?) in the paper and it's a bit lighter than some other brands.

Thanks angelpea. That was the brand I was leaning towards so I might go ahead and order it.

I actually really like the Recollections kraft cardstock.. the stuff that comes shrink-wrapped in plastic with the other packs of plain, solid coloured cardstocks. It's thin, but not like paper. It cuts perfectly in my Cameo. It's flat -- both in colour, and texture. I think the shade of kraft is perfect for me... not too yellowy, not too dark. But I mostly like to use it for cutting shapes, and making stencils. I think if I wanted cardstock to scrap on, I would want something thicker.

I use kraft a lot - an awful lot - as background for my scrapbook pages. Maybe I'll order a few different types till I find one I settle on.

I actually really like the Recollections branded paper too. I always feel like I'm being cheap, but I don't think it's any worse than the higher-end stuff, and unless I'm stamping, I don't need top-end paper anyway. And like you said, it cuts great. Never been a fan of the really textured stuff anyway.

Stampin Up kraft cardstock is by far my favorite.
