Just got a notice of a 35% off sale at Freckled Fawn and was wondering if anyone has purchased their TN sized albums (4 ring). If so, what do you think of the quality? I have albums this size from Citrus Twist, but would love to branch out if these are good quality. TIA!! Freckled Fawn TN Albums
P.S. The code for 35% off is DoeBday and expires on 2/10 at midnight MST.

I took a chance and ordered 3 blooper albums during the sale so they were very cheap. But I'm very glad they weren't full price because the quality is not there. The best way for me to describe the albums is squishy. There seems to be nothing sturdy in between the pleather so the cover is very pliable. They'll work for my projects, simple vacation albums, but only because they won't be looked at very often. I think the only thing that makes them a blooper album is that the metal label holder on the side is very slightly crooked. The yellow color is very nice though!

I decided to take a chance and order just one black album to try out. I figure I can use it for a trip album, like you have done, or if I really don’t like the quality, I can use it to store all of the small page protectors I have been accumulating

I can’t speak to the albums, but I bought a few packs of the page protectors. I am not impressed. They are thin and too big, so TN sized paper slides out. I am not sure what to do with them, but I will not use them in my albums. I find Citrus Twist’s much better quality.
ETA: The quality for the CT albums is great too. I have a few regulars and seconds. I can’t even tell what the issues are on the seconds. They are the WRMK of TN albums.

I’m just getting into TNs. This will save me a lot of money. I love it when the Peas share their wisdom! THANK YOU!

Yes, the CT albums in the TN size are great, I was just hoping to find a non-fabric version in this size. I’m glad I ordered the FF album and page protectors during their sale, so I didn’t pay full price. So disappointing that the pp are thin. I prefer the larger size, however (I find TN paper itself a bit narrow), so maybe they will work for me. I really wish Scrapbook.com would come out with some more album sizes

CT albums are nice, but a leather-like finish would be the icing on the cake. Another piece to be aware of is the PPs for CT and FF are not directly interchangeable. The holes don't perfectly align with the other brand's album, which would not have been a problem of the FF PPs were of better quality; I would have been willing to repunch a few holes. Interestingly, the FF TN backgrounds are too small and slide out of the FF PP, but I find they fit perfectly in the CT PP.
