Where do you all keep your albums? I have mention in another thread that I'm getting some IKEA stuff... I am wondering, in particular, if my albums would fit in these cubes here (and / or in the cupboard part). I only have 3 or 4, the binder style of my own. I always have difficulty reading the dimensions on the pics they have; I can't tell if the size is the inside space, or the whole thing, or they actually list both. |

My DH has one of these that is just the cube part so I grabbed a WRMK 12x12 album to check, and it is just a whisker too tall to fit into the cube.
I ended up getting a kallax for my albums which seems to be the go to for scrappers using ikea furniture.

I have the Better Homes and Gardens cubes from Wal-Mart. And then a miscellaneous shelf from a thrift store to hold the rest.

I have some in the Better Homes and Gardens cubes, and I have a few on my Hemnes bookshelves as well (I use the Hemnes bookshleves as storage in my scrap area for everything BUT paper). I *think* the albums might hang off the edge of the Hemnes shelves by a tiny amount, I will double check in a bit and report back.
ETA my albums do hang over the shelf by about 1.25 inches.

I have a mix of Kallax and the BHG version - I scrap 8.5x11 but there's enough space in those for 12x12s

The ones in my scrap space are on the bottom shelves of my IKEA Expidit? (whatever the pre-Kallax unit was called).
A handful of "completed" albums have been relocated to the living room in a couple of large glass door bookcases we bought back in the 90s. I needed to empty some cubes in order to make room to store more craft supplies.

My WRMK 12x12 albums fit in my Kallax.
I keep current (last five years) in a Kallax in my craft room. Older are stored in an Expedit with doors in our family room.

I have two nock off Kallax from Hobby Lobby - one is in our guest room and one is in our workout room. All my finished 12x12 albums goes onto one of those.

I use Kallax/Expedit shelving to hold 12x12 d-ring scrapbooks (Project Life brand). The Scrapbook.com 12x12 d-ring and WRMK leather 12x12 d-ring albums both fit, too. The Doodlebug leather 12x12 d-rings do NOT.

I have a BHG - the AC albums and most BH PL albums fit, but barely. The WRMK do NOT fit in the BHG. I also have some from Target (the Threshold brand) and the WRMK do fit in those.

I have the Expedit Cubes (now Kallax) from Ikea. I also have a 2x2 cube from Walmart that is supposed to have the same dimensions. Two of the cubes do not fit 12x12 WRMK albums.  I have a mixture of album sizes. My 8.5x11 and smaller are on a regular bookshelf. |

I use two inch - three ring binders as my scrapbook albums.
They are stored in a 1 x 5 Better Homes and Garden cube unit.
It's laid sideways 1 cube high x 5 cubes wide. With the scrapbooks in the cubes, and home decor on top.
It sits underneath three rows of picture ledge shelves, that has frames holding my favorite photos and cute signs on them.

Mine are on ladder shelves. Each shelf hold about 6-8 and there are five shelves on each ladder. I have three ladders full.

I have a mixture of album sizes. My 8.5x11 and smaller are on a regular bookshelf.
