I have a "sprinkle" problem, for lack of a better term. No scrapbook page is complete without some enamel dots/shapes. Or maybe I'll use sequins. Or flatback pearls. Or gemstones. Or tiny wooden shapes. Every page has to have a little sprinkle of something. If nothing else, I have to put ink drops on it.
Do people still use enamel dots? Sequins? Anything else? I keep seeing people saying they are going back to completely flat pages but something in my brain will not let me do that. I just need the texture and dimension.

Yep, I'm the same with cards.

Shimelle uses a lot of confetti/sprinkle on her pages still and I love it. I don’t have a lot of those items but I feel like her pages look better with them.

I'm a light sprinkler. I don't remember to add those finishing touches to every layout but I'm always happier with a layout when I do. Personally, I don't like totally flat layouts and haven't heard anyone say that they're going in that direction. I like some dimension but not too much. I have some really bulky gems that I never use. Lately I've been using the smallest heart from this punch a lot. I layer a patterned paper heart over a few layers of white cardstock so it's like a diy cardstock die cut. It's about the same level of dimension as an enamel dot.

I really like that punch and the idea of layering to give them dimension. I'd also consider myself a "light sprinkler." I don't ever use mist or paint, only dots or gems, and not on every page.

I have the opposite problem: I have oodles of enamel dots/jewels/wood veneer, etc, and I never use them because I just can't get them to look right on my cards! I'm always questioning my placement because it looks too contrived and not "random" enough, even though I've followed different suggestions (using odd numbers/3s, making a visual triangle, etc). So I say, good for you for using what you love!

I love dimension...wood veneer, enamel dots, gems, all of it! I'm also a user of foam tape to pop up elements of my layouts. I also love the look of paint or mist splatter/sprinkle, but I am impatient and don't always like to wait for things to dry. I have the same problem with Nuvo dots.

This is my problem too, although I don't use them on cards as much as I try to use them on layouts and such. I have tons but when I try and sprinkle them on it looks like my cat accidentally knocked over sequins on my layout.

I have so many enamel dots it's ridiculous. For a while they were coming in every kit. I've only recently gotten back into doing actual layouts (instead of just pockets) and I am going to town with them.
But I do use the rule of 3. And for me it's usually 3 of the same color (although sometimes different textures like the gems mixed with regular dots). Usually 3 different sizes as well.
I love them.

So I say, good for you for using what you love! This is me too, most of the time. I tend to fill my cards with pretty big elements and often find that the spots where I think a sprinkle should go doesn't have any space left (or is off the edge of the card!) I've gotten a bit better with them lately and have started to find that my cards do look better if I can add a few. I had a little more luck once I realized that only the tiniest of sprinkles work for me on cards. I like the little bitty enamel dots, very occasionally I can use a medium sized one with several tiny ones, and I like the small epoxy hearts that Doodlebug has. I want to love Nuvo drops but I can only use them if I make them in advance and use them like dots because I have to move them at least 6 times before I find the right spot for them.

I keep seeing people saying they are going back to completely flat pages but something in my brain will not let me do that. I cannot imagine a flat page or card! I add dots or sequins 99% of the time. I am currently collecting more sequins, pearls, jewels, nuvos. Still love my enamel dots, but they do seem expensive when you can get a whole package of jewels/pearls for less $.

I love enamel dots! Mostly the bright pretty ones. I don't use them on everything, but I do use them when I can. Yesterday I made a Valentine's Day card and I tried to use enamel dots, but they just did not go with the card design, so I skipped them. And I was ok with that.

I have a sprinkle phobia. If I use enamel dots or brads, it's generally not in a scattered fashion. Like a dot on an i or the middle of a flower. Sequins? I forget I own them and a lot of my pages don't feel sparkly enough for that kind of addition.

My cards look naked without the accoutrements. Enamel dots, sequins or gems are on them all.

I love using the sprinkly things on my pages and never feel like my clusters are complete without them. Enamel dots and gold mist have been my go to for quite a long time, but over the last year or so I've been mixing it up by using other things like puffy shapes or layering two flat heart stickers slightly offset. And I adore the tiny Doodlebug enamel hearts.

I love enamel dots—either the sticky sticker kind or the Nuvo kind. I also love other enamel shapes like stars, hearts, hexagons, and whatever other shapes I can find.

Speaking of enamel dots, is there a seller you buy from on Aliexpress? I am lacking in sprinkles!

I love adding sprinkle bits. But sometimes I don’t want any. It all depends on how I’m feeling.

I love adding enamel dots (or Nuvo) and other bits. I too love the Doodlebug hearts, but even more so the tiny epoxy stars they’ve had with only a few collections. I do really wish they were enamel instead of epoxy, but the ones I’ve bought and used aren’t white, so hopefully it won’t be as noticeable when they yellow.

I love them too! I seem to have every kind of white/iridescent/transparent/clear/opaque anyone has ever made. I can tell the difference so that makes it ok, right? I like them on cards and scrapbook layouts. I use Nuvo, Ranger liquid and then ALL the baubles. I do prefer the flat back. Cards especially seem naked without them.

I love enamel dots. I use 9 on just about every page, 3 in each embellishment cluster (in 3 different sizes). 99% of my enamel dots are the generic AliExpress knockoff types.
I do love bling too, but usually prefer enamel dots over bling, unless it's my wedding album or feminine pages that I'm doing.

I need to confess, sometimes I think enamel dots, bling, sequins, and pearls are just the latest “sticker sneeze”. However, I just used an Oxford comma so what do I know? I do think if you love them, you should use them.

I am all about foam tape. I have to pop things. I often use enamel dots but the last few times I've scrapped they have been more of an afterthought. But 3D stickers and whatever else is a big part of my scrapping.

Pretty dots and sprinkles are something I LIKE to see on cards and LO's. I BUY lots of them. But then when I am scrapping I don't always remember them. Even when they are part of the plan in my head for this project.
Then I will make an effort to use them on one project and keep them out on my counter for awhile. I MIGHT see them and use them, but again, they don't really jump up and down and demand my attention.
