I'm having a hell of a time with my AliExpress orders since the new year. I placed 3 orders on 12/31/21.
Order 1 had not shipped as of this week so I cancelled the order (and got a full refund) on Monday.
Order 2 was delivered to my local USPS by International Bridge on 1/12/22. However the USPS did not scan it in and there has been no movement since 1/11/22. I've been to the post office and they can't help me because "they have not received the item". I HATE the USPS!
Order 3 is lost somewhere between China and the US. It looks like it might be in the US but honestly the tracking has not updated with a USPS tracking# so I'm not sure where it is.
Is anyone else having trouble receiving their AliExpress orders?

No. I ordered a few things in mid-Jan. and they arrived this week. It took less than 3 weeks.
Once it got to the US it was here in 2 days. It did take a while to go through Chinese customs.
Good luck!

I placed two orders around the same time as you. One arrived surprisingly fast - around two weeks later. The other was delayed and took about 5 weeks.

It's been a bit slow but I've been getting mine. Now if only I didn't order daily... lol!

I placed an order on December 15. I have received that one already. Sometime mid January. Order #2 was placed Feb 1 and it has cleared customs, so I would imagine I'll get it within the next week or so. If not sooner. Order #3 was just placed on Feb 15, so I am not even looking for that one yet or any movement on it.

DH will always call me when the packages arrive since they are all marked with Chinese lettering. "What have you ordered now?" Oh honey, don't you worry your little head.

At least wash your hands if you buy their stuff. It’s counterfeit and there’s no safety standards for what they manufacture.

If remotely true, this means products made in China and sold by American companies are selling rotten toxic products.

This is kind of freaky bc I just popped over here to look for chatter about AliExpress ... I was just perusing the site for the first time and looking for feedback.

Until recently, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with AliExpress. I’m pretty bummed. As an update to my original post, order 2 is still lost and order 3 was received but 3 items were missing.

Show me where there are safety standard marks on any of their packaging? Wait! They don’t use packaging. You get dies in a cellophane baggy, kinda like drugs from a street dealer. Any legit company has packaging for a reason, with info and ingredients or what’s in your inks. Be careful. Easier to call bullshit than to recover from some shady shit that gave you cancer!

You realise there’s a very high likelihood that the same factories make the counterfeits as the 'real' dies and stamps? I’ve only bought AE dies and stamps for years. I can’t afford the hugely marked-up prices that many of the companies charge, nor the steep shipping costs for the companies that don’t sell in the UK. If I have a choice between paying £5 to AE, or £50 to SSS, then it’s an easy decision. And 99% of the time, it’s an identical product.

I got my Feb 1 order on Thursday. I washed my hands. 😆 Do you have a preferred store you shop at or is it just random based on what you’re looking for? It seems my go to is Piggy Craft and Addy Craft.

It seems my go to is Piggy Craft and Addy Craft. I get mainly stamps. I'll look in just a bit and see which stores they were from. I do think it was mainly 2 stores. They didn't have names, they were just letters.

My recent AliExpress orders have arrived safe and well, no particular time delays (I am in Europe). No scrap goodies, however. Just some hair pins and knitting needles.
As a rule, put your clothes and linen (especially if manufactured in places with lower safety + control standards than those in your own country) through the wash before wearing them as they do get sprayed quite heavily to keep moths and other issues at bay during storage and transportation. Outside of that, there are no issues. Obviously, avoid buying beauty + makeup products and drugs that are counterfeits.

I believe that most metal dies, whether from AliExpress or scrapbook.com, are made in China, aren't they? I've heard a lot about AliExpress but have never purchased from them - that I know of, unless I had purchased something inadvertently from them through amazon.com. That said, I find that products that I order from amazon - if the seller is located in China - it usually takes longer to receive them.

With the low or almost-immediate "sale" prices, it makes you wonder what corners were cut to keep the costs low. are the materials full of dangerous chemicals? are the dye and paints toxic? what about the plastic or glues? California requires a warning label be put on certain items about cancer causing ingredients and yet the products are not banned. i have no doubt american companies are selling toxic products and people buy them because of the low prices.

What is the quality like of the stamps? I see they say the material is silicone and if that's the case they should stamp well.
