I've already blown my small scrappy budget for the season, but I would have liked to get my hands on both of those 6x8 pads. Oh, well.
Thanks for the links paperangel!

Neither of these are really my thing, but I thought it was interesting that so many of the patterns have a solid on the reverse.

I like bits and pieces of both of them, but nothing jumps out as must have.
The colors really aren't bad.
I like that the prints, for the most part, aren't loud, and many have a solid B side.
How many of y'all are riding a bicycle with flowers in the front that is prompting manufacturers to stay with this icon?!
I think the jar of fireflies icon is cute, though. Can't buy a whole collection for one jar, tho.

I think both of them are pretty boring.

Meh, there are a few cute things in there but nothing I need to have. I did like that there was one paper in the summer collection that had a pre-printed border on 2 sides of the sheet. Now if there could be a full border paper every once in a while...it would be an economical way to frame a page. 481708-600x600-2 by Christine C68, on Flickr

I like some of the papers but I’ve been trying to stop buying paper with no embellishments. These embellishments have a different look that I don’t love.

I like the colours used in both of these collections, but neither are a must have for me. I like the yellow script paper in the Simply Summer line, but I am not sure that I will do a special order just for one sheet of patterned paper as it's not likely to show up in any LSSs near me.
I had hopes for the garden line, but I only like bits and pieces, and for the one gardening layout that I am likely to do this year, I have bits of an older PhotoPlay line that I liked better and will try to use up.

Meh, I could possibly buy a couple sheets of paper, but that’s about it.

For as much as people complain about getting the same icons over and over again, I think they did a great job at delivering some new things in the ephemera pack of Simply Summer: garden hose, ice cream sandwich, checkerboard, hammock, badminton gear, water sprinklers & water balloons.

Completely agree, Ryann. And I like how the icons in the embellishments do not repeat endlessly in the paper. I think these are cute lines, but I have no need for them at the moment. Fancy Pants seems to always produce nice, understated, soft lines, which is a nice departure from the overly busy lines we tend to see.

I have always been a fan of Fancy Pants, just because they are a little different then everyone else. Neither of these collections are screaming my name, but that doesn't mean I don't like them. I really like the look of that dark green in the garden collection, and may pick up a couple sheets of that paper and the enamel dots.

I succeeded in killing every potted plant we got last year.. but that bloom kit is very cute! Aside from the weird fish-eye text on those pieces of wood I love the ephemera.

I like pretty much everything about Bloom, including that it has almost no pink! I garden so I can use it too.
Simply Summer I like the colors but not the patterns... I can see myself buying the ephemera (I've been looking for anything badminton) although the flower bike icons are starting to need their own drawer in my supplies, I have so many and never know how to use them...
