My husband is Italian. His parents always referred to Jordan almonds as "Wedding candy". There is a poem or saying that goes with them.
At our wedding they were a must to have at every place setting.

I’ve eaten one in my lifetime and didn’t care for it. It waz so long ago, I can’t remember when…80’s or 90’s wedding I’m guessing. I love almonds in general, just not the coating.

I probably eat them once a year or so because DH likes them and I buy them for him- usually Easter or Christmas.

Decades - I like them but they were always a wedding thing and when they fell out for favor as favors…

I love them! When I was in grad school, I worked at a nuts-and-candy store, and their Jordan almonds were sooooo good. The last time I had them was a few years ago (pre-pandemic, definitely) - a newsstand in the subway station carried them, and I bought a bag on a whim. The candy coating was too thick, but I ate them anyway. LOL

I had to google to see what they were, I don't know if I've ever had one. Looking at the photos on google, they look like an Easter thing to me.... They're an almond with a candy coating, yes?

Haven’t had them in years. Haven’t thought about them in years, now I’m craving them.
