This weeks challenge is triangles. The background of this layout is individually cut triangles. The twist is to make the focus of your layout something new. A book, a piece of clothing - just something new for 5 extra points. In my example, the "new" is my great-grandson.

Thank you for the triangle challenge! Nothing better than a new baby! I liked the quilt like pattern in your paper so much that I tried to replicate it with cardstock triangles.  |

I love triangles, and I had fun with this challenge! I was working on two different layouts, then I came across this fun template, so I decided to go with this layout instead. I will probably end up finishing one of the other layouts and posting it as well.

Thank you scrappyrabbit - I can't take credit for the idea - I saw it on FB - but the triangles were a bit of trial and error to figure out what size squares to cut to make them fit the page (I used 1.5" squares in the end)....I dug in my red scrap envelope for all the colours |

gramma, thank you for this triangle challenge. I love your wonderful pages of new baby photos, wrapped in your “quilt” of triangles. Simply gorgeous. You have love in the gallery. jjpeapea, I love the quilt look you made for this page. The tiny hearts go perfectly with your heart patch. Fun solution to a tear, and great page to remember it. Nicely done. justjac, AussieMeg, and scrappyrabbit, you have love in the gallery. Linda, I love, love, love this triangle page. It’s my favorite of all you have posted recently. Great idea and beautifully scrapped. This page went a different direction than I had in mind, but that's what usually happens when I scrap! LOL  Splash New Pool

The pool contractor that he uses is the daughter of the man who did many of the rock/pool/mountain designs at Disneyland. She does the most beautiful work. There are thousands of lights inside that grotto. It's an amazing pool. |

I had every intention of creating my own triangle background using the patterned papers I used, but ended up finding this black/white patterned paper that was perfect for the busy colors - and it had triangles on it! No twist on this one.  |
