Avery Elle is the name I hear/read most often, but so many brands have their own version of stamp/die pockets available now. I have several from Studio Calico and they are very nice and sturdy but definitely a more expensive option. I would like to transition storage of all my stamps/dies over to one system and not sure if I should stick with what I have or consider it a sunk cost and go for a cheaper option. My collection of stuff isn't particularly large but still, money is money.
Are they all very similar or are the SC ones somehow worth the additional cost?

I bought mine on Amazon, and I think they're just as good as the "name" brands. Some companies' pockets are more clear than others, but I'm not bothered by that. The ones I bought are very clear, but I can't remember the brand name. The order was placed so long ago that it isn't in my history.

Personally I don't think the SC ones are worth the extra price. We all know they over-price right off the bat. The pockets are nice, but I'd rather spend the money on crafty stuff or other needed storage stuff.

I use the basic bags from Amazon. I put a piece of white cardstock in it, stamps in the front and dies on a magnet in the back of the pouch. I am a heavy user and have never had one rip.

I have Avery Elle and Check Out Store pockets and they are similar, but AE is more clear. I love the Check Out Store 12.5 x 12.5 envelopes for storing large sets of stickers and ephemera.

are the SC ones somehow worth the additional cost? I wouldn't trust SC to have them for the long term or when you need them. I don't know if they're overpriced, I haven't used them, but SC has such a reputation for abandoning or irregularly restocking products...

I was watching a YouTube video the other day and the lady took apart one of those really inexpensive photo holder books that hold photos back to back in kind of a flip style. Think Dollar Tree. She cut it apart and had a great solution for stamp storage.

I actually had one of those empty photo books in my stash of stuff to give to the thrift store, so I pulled it out and tried this with it. It worked great! I had already converted my stamp storage to use 3-ring binders a few months ago, but I used this photo book pocket hack for a few stamp sets I bought right after I had organized the others (the new ones hadn't made it into my binders yet).

That's it! I thought it was perfect for anyone who didn't want to spend more than a few bucks (or $1) for organizing. I used to keep all of my titles that were 4 x 6 or smaller in these pockets years ago and put them on a Clip It Up.
