Putin may lose after all..... Republicans cheer Putin and his killers and Putin's elite killers bolt and seem to have been eliminated.. . Zelensky assassination plot foiled after members of Russia's Federal Security Service tip off Ukrainians: report Brad Reed March 01, 2022 According to a new report from Axios, Ukrainian officials have thwarted an assassination plot against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky -- and they got tipped off by an unexpected source. An official Telegram post from Ukrainian authorities claims that the plot against Zelensky was relayed to them by "members of Russia's Federal Security Service who do not support the war" in Ukraine.
Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council chief Oleksiy Danilov explained that the plot involved a unit of elite Chechen special forces who had subsequently been "eliminated" before they could achieve their objective of murdering the Ukrainian president.Zelensky has become a focal point of Russian efforts to crush Ukrainian resistance, as he has defiantly remained in the capitol of Kyiv to direct the war effort despite intelligence that he is the target of multiple Russian assassination plots. The United States government reportedly offered to give Zelensky safe transportation out of Kyiv, but he turned down the offer. www.rawstory.com/volodymyr-zelensky-2656821397/*** From Axios Danilov elaborated that the Kadyrovite group had been divided into two, with one being destroyed in Gostomel and the other "under fire."www.axios.com/zelensky-assassination-plot-foiled-7bea049b-2308-4801-b75a-93104c17b82b.html

As this drags on the angrier I get. Ukraine did nothing to deserve this. It shouldn’t be happening.
And the frustrating part is the United States could take out that convey in the matter of minutes with drones and yet we can’t because of a lot of reasons.
Right now the world really sucks.

Now would be really good time for someone within the Kremlin to assassinate Putin.

Now would be really good time for someone within the Kremlin to assassinate Putin. I bet that’s not an isolated thought. Lots of people thinking that too.

His actions could be very dangerous! Cornered creatures are the most feral. Nothing left to lose. Terrifying.

russia may have the fire power but i'm pinning my hopes on the international community and the Ukrainian people. Me too! I have a sneaky feeling that Putin is a bit surprised right now at how his unprovoked war on Ukraine is bringing so many together against him. Maybe the world did actually learn something from WWII about how to not enable a madman in his attempt to take over a continent. I think the “unprovoked” part is key in the rallying of Allie’s—even the unexpected. I think they realize that if they’re not going to stick together, it could be anyone.

It's even hitting LI where people tend to stay pretty apolitical, at least in my circles. www.linkedin.com/posts/ryan-donahue-790a7513_standwithukraine-activity-6904447536686268417-IQea/"Ryan Donahue J.D. Candidate at Harvard Law School While most of the world has united in opposition to Putin and his war of aggression against Ukraine, a certain segment of the legal community has not. Amazingly, some BigLaw firms have refused to close their offices in Russia and permanently cut ties with Russian oligarchs and state-owned companies. I was committed to join one of these firms as a summer associate. Yesterday, I expressed my convictions about the firm's office in Moscow and their work for Russian banks and state-owned oil and gas companies. Despite their ‘concern’ and ‘sadness’, it was clear that no decisions were forthcoming. Today, I informed that firm of my decision not to participate in their summer program. This was an extraordinarily easy choice to make. While I expect that finding another internship this late is going to be difficult, it isn’t scary. Defending your home from invaders when you are vastly outnumbered and outgunned, that’s scary. The Ukrainian people have demonstrated awe-inspiring courage, which makes the shameful cowardice of firms willing to enable and profit from Putin’s regime that much more disappointing. To all the firms that think it is acceptable to continue operating in Russia, this is my message: Russia is a pariah state, not your emerging market.
Your pro bono programs and equality initiatives won’t wash away the stain of working for war criminals..."

This is incredible, their ability to release a statement with lie after lie is *almost* impressive. The feeling of being completely gaslit is palpable. Does this not remind you of someone. Just the wording of fake news and accusing others of what you are doing?

In Russia, police detain a survivor of the Siege of Leningrad, which began in 1941-I think-and lasted several years, with hundreds of thousands of casualties

Reason # 477227893289 Ron DeSantis is a fucking cretin.
Like how can you never have even heard of the French Resistance? Or that France is the 4th biggest nuclear power in the world? 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ Embarrassing. Il est incompétent!
And that only dwarfed him prior to that yelling like a petulant child, at children for wearing masks around him.
No bar is low enough.

What's it going to take to boot Russia from holding veto power in the UN Sec Council?!
If they have to amend the charter, amend it. It is HIGH TIME that countries that invade other countries lose veto power in the UN Sec Council.

Although you know there are people who are good with republicans being inherently stupid, and obnoxious and cruel, in the name of owning the libs. 🤷🏼♀️ Anyways enough about the Putin wannabe here. 🥴
