Welcome to the weekend everyone, and to the last of my 28-4-28 sketches. Where has the month gone?! Today I have a choice of two sketches for you to choose from. One is a sketch with lots of white space, and the other is a filled page sketch. White Space: And here is my layout: Filled page:
And here is my layout: The twist this week is another Tic Tac Toe. Choose three embellishments or three colours (or a combination of both) in a row to meet the twist. For those of you who are in a team, you can earn FIVE points for meeting this challenge, and an additional TWO POINT BONUS for also meeting the twist on this same project. If you use all 9 embellishments or colours on your page, take a bonus 9 points! And remember, if you can complete ALL of the 28-4-28 challenges by the end of this quarter, you can earn a BONUS of 280 points. Have fun, and thanks for playing along with me this month!

I combined the two small photos into one 4x6. I met the twist by using yellow, paint, and a tag. Today was Fun

I used the single layout option, but went a bit sideways from the sketch. It happens! For the twist I used tag, arrow and heart.

Sketch 2.26.22 by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr I went with the white space sketch, although I really like the other one too and I have it printed out to use. White space is not something I do a lot of, so I wanted to stretch myself! I did end up going a little rogue, but you can see the sketch inspiration for sure. Also, I used some scraps which is always a good thing!

AussieMeg thank you for the sketch challenge. It turned out to be a good fit for these photos of the cheerleaders cheering for the special needs prom participant car parade. Your story made me smile. Sounds like you handled it with grace! My brother did something similar when we were quite young - he had a surprise party. The surprise was he invited friends over for an unplanned party. justjac I like the way you made the sketch work for you, combining the pictures rectangles into one big rectangle, all your fun stars, tucking in a journal tag. Cute. scrappyrabbit I love the spring like elements and the way you used many sizes of strips like the sketch but suiting your own photos and style. My tic tac toe is string, grey, heart

Wow, I am loving everyone's pages! I am happily surprised that people have tried the white space sketch, because I know that most people here don't usually do that style of layout. Thanks for playing along.

Together this is life by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr Back already with the second sketch. It didn't photograph well for some reason, the lighting is iffy I guess. But thanks for the sketch and it worked really well for this!

Stitching dots and arrows! gramma gave me the title and the idea to make my journaling strips pink so they were less obtrusive. I cut my photo in half to match the sketch, and I'm really glad I didn. Thanks for all the wonderful sketches. layout timing is everything by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Beautiful pages, everyone! jjpeapea, that shiny background pp is perfect for your theme. Love how you layered everything in the centre and left so much of it showing. Really pretty LO. I think I left love on Flickr for everyone else's takes.
Here is my take on this challenge. The left page works with the first sketch. Sorry not sorry by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I splattered some paint on the foundations background, but now it is all covered up. Can I still have the twist for the string/paint/arrow line?

AussieMeg, thank you for this and all the challenges you have provided for us for 28-2-28. You have love in the gallery. jjpeapea, I love the background of your page. The dots of gold are so pretty against the blue. You did a gorgeous job with the sketch. I love the twine curls. Such a beautiful layout. grammadee, justjac, Ryann, scrappyrabbit, and kitbop, you all have love in the gallery on your beautiful layouts. This is mine without the twist: Cold
