Welcome to the final layering challenge of this years' 28-4-28! Today we are going to talk about one of my favourite part of my layouts: the title! Titles have SO MUCH design potential - whether you add a cluster to your title, or layer elements of the actual title, there are so many opportunities. This is a layout I just finished which features a strange title (derived from a game my kids made up when they were little that was called "Bull Bear and Lion" so this layout is "Lakeside Bull Bear and Liferaft) 1. "Bull" : ancient chatterbox stickers, layered over each other on white cardstock and fussy cut out with a small mat of white 2. "Liferaft" : stamped a woodgrain background in kraft ink and die cut the letters, layered them up 2 thick, and placed them on a banner shape 3. layered the top part of the title as a cluster with multiple shapes and a large yellow enamel sticker layout bull bear and liferaft by kirstendrew, on Flickr so to meet this challenge, I'd like to see 3 layers in your , no matter how you want to create them - 3 layers of die cut letters glued together, or layers behind or over your title. The TWIST is to include STAMPING in your title, whether the letters are stamped or you use a stamp in one of the layers/clusters, or you stamp paper to make letters out of! Stamping would also technically count as a "layer"!

Okay. I layered my title on a LO today. But don’t have any stamps with me here. I DO have inks. Will have to figure out how to stamp with something else. Hmmm… Thanks kitbop, for all the fun layering challenges. What a fun month this has been!

kitbop, I love, love, love your page. I left comments in the gallery. Thank you for this challenge. It was just what I needed to finish a page I wasn't liking at all. It took 3 different fonts and a combination of 3 cut files, but I was able to design my title on my Silhouette. I am very happy with the title and will probably try this again. I forgot I needed to stamp on it so there is no twist on this one. Quiet Moments

Thanks for the fun challenge, and all your other great challenges this month. You really are the Title Queen, and I am bowing to your prowess! Here is my layout. The layers are: white paint, flower stickers, cut file, vellum sticker with & stamped on it, cork alpha, flower. Luckily this kit came with a stamp style so I didn't have to go searching, or worse, make one myself!

kitbop thank you for the layered title challenge! I very much enjoyed your bright, layered example, the sunny colors, the way the torn paper is like gentle waves. justjac so cute! Your layered title is special and fun. Liking the colorful rainbows and the page within a page effect. AussieMeg Words on flowers and splats and ampersands, very captivating. I like the little "this" button effect. What a joyful celebration. I stamped little sprinkle like dots on cardstock with an old Stampin' Up kit "Gorgeous Grunge", then cut it with my Cricut. Then layered. Today we tried chocolate chip cookie dough hummus without and internet recipe and it wasn't as good. Before we used dried beans that we soaked and cooked and today we used canned beans, so we maybe we'll go back to the dried beans. This is it! All 28 challenges completed. Thanks very much hosts! Your challenges unleased creativity and memories kept.

But kmage...what if you get chocolate on the playmats??? Oh no, around here the playmats are sacred and dips are not allowed Your title is great, the pun, and the stamping and layers, are wonderful. I LOVE the pie chart in the Magic colours and your secondary phrase!!!

I LOVE the pie chart in the Magic colours and your secondary phrase!!! Lol, I throw the playmats into the wash about once a month! 10 year old playmats look like new. But yes, we did have one "incident" and will probably not do such a snack again... edited to add, I NEVER dry the playmats, just hang over the back of the couch to air dry. Also, I love your ocean LO, the stamped woodgrain looks excellent and I like all the patterned paper layering. nylene , what a fancy title!! It looks great, you could not buy something that precise. You truly have the touch when it comes to your machine, and how creative to have designed it yourself! AussieMeg , what a light and refreshing page! The colors go so well together. jjpeapea , sprinkles!! Your LO made me hungry for cake! I love the idea of decorating the die cut letters, I am wondering if you and kitbop stamped them after diecutting, or stamped the paper and then cut the letters out of that?

I've placed my title on top of four layers - no twist as there's no stamping on this one.

Thanks for the challenge, kitbop. Amazing title work, everyone! Here is my take on this challenge. Tried for a punny title to match the punny valentines my dgs was making in these photos. And I had fun layering it up. aMOOSEing wishes by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Was doing this at my ds's home and had not taken my stamps, so ended up using a wire heart and piece of mesh to do my "stamping" for the twist. Doesn't look very professional, but it does scuff up the title "a" and the background white a bit. Now that I am posting this, I can see it doesn't show up much, but will take a detail shot and post from TapaTalk in a minute. j

Here is a closer look. I think the best look at the mesh stamping is the white on navy under the letter. I also stamped the mesh with green on both letter and background, and stamped the wire hearts in blue all over.

grammadee - you really stepped into that twist! You deserve bonus points, or at least applause! I think it made great texture. VERY cute layouts. The hearts and squares - did you use them for my other challenge of layered shapes???

I found some nested stars in the embellies I took to Calgary, soused them on a LO for that other challenge. Will post it later this week.
