Dh and I are Coke Zero fans. Just for fun, we fell for the marketing hype and split a bottle of the 'space flavored' drink. Have you tried it? What did you think? Here's my review: When you pour it, it's a dark pink color, almost like Dr. Pepper.
To me, it tastes like an extremely sweet vanilla toasted marshmallow. There's definitely a burnt marshmallow quality to it. I've seen some reviews that say that there's a raspberry or other fruit essence, but I didn't get this at all.
Overall, it was far too sweet for me, and I didn't care for the burnt aftertaste. I won't be buying it again. |

A friend gave me a mini can last week. It made for a pretty drink (in a stemless wine glass with lots of ice), but I was definitely not a fan of it.

Sounds gross. (This from a woman who inexplicably added Diet Orange Soda to the grocery list recently.) Jili, your glasses look great. I want them. I went pandemic grey and my brown tortoiseshell glasses look awful with it. My friend is taking me to some Near Northside glasses store boutique this week, but has warned me I’ll have sticker shock. I like my basic Coke. A little too much, maybe.
Passed the second bottle on to our oldest to try. Haven't heard yet.

I bought a 5-pack of those blue light-blocking glasses back when I was remote and literally on the computer all day long. I paid about $14 for a five pack (including a pair of brown tortoiseshell that I actually quite like). I do wear actual glasses but only for when I am in large spaces or when I'm driving in the evening/night. Do these work? I have no idea, but I like how they look. My daughter loved them and I bought her a pack for Christmas last year. The bad news-- I just checked my Amazon orders and these are 'currently unavailable'. I'll put the link here anyway. glasses |

The flavor sounds like something I would actually like, but I’m not a fan of fake sweeteners in anything so I’d pass just on that basis.

We are a Coca-Cola campus, so I'm sure there will be samples handed out soon LOL. I'll have to try one.
This is the kind of thing I used to be able to count on as a Kroger Friday Freebie, but unfortunately, they stopped that back in March/April 2020.

I once tired Coke Zero Orange Vanilla and thought it was the greatest soda I'd ever tasted. After buying a 12 a couple of times, it eventually tasted like weird cough syrup. The flavor didn't age well for me.
I'm guessing that's what would happen if I tried Starlight.
I do like Dr. Pepper & Cream Soda Zero Sugar for now. I imagine it'll eventually be gross.

I tried it a few days ago. The smell is definitely cotton candy, but I'd describe the taste like a mix of coke and a liquified Pepridge Farm Gingerbread Man cookie.

I tried it and like it, not LOVE like I need to stock up because it's a limited flavor. It starts out as this is kind of weird, then you swallow a bit and there's this different flavor going on and I thought this is intriguing! So I drank it all. 
ETA: I was tasting a bit of raspberry, but more marshmallow

I’m not so sure I would like it. But I will admit to a addiction to Tahitian Treat and Pecan Sandies when I lived in Georgia. Bite of cookie, mouth full of drink, let it soak in, then chew and swallow. Mmm…

OK I finally found it today and tried it for the first time at lunch! I agree with the poster who said "cream soda mix with a hint of cherry." But that's still not 100% it. I can't put my finger on it.
It's not my favorite, but I will finish the case of mini cans. It is similar enough to Dr Pepper zero, so I don't mind it.

I didn't realize this was a thing and bought a bottle of regular Coke Starlight recently. Tasted weird to me and I didn't even finish the drink. Not a fan!
