Huh. The last camp was very well put together. Some of the instructors' stories were fun - and poignant - and parts were hilarious. But I only kept one stamp/die set. Not that the products weren't high quality and well designed, but camping and scenes aren't what I'd make. Was it worth the entertainment and other items? Yes, the laughter was good medicine.
I'd decided not to go to expensive events put on by just one company after that. With SCT's 3-day card making events and a dozen plus companies' products, if 1/3-1/2 are my taste, that's still great.
But like you, now I'm intrigued. And the salt water taffy was terrific. I meant to buy some.

While we’re sticking with the summer camp theme, the products themselves will not be camp related. That's good info, I definitely don't need camp related supplies. I love C&9th but I don't love all of their products (the ones I do love are my absolute favs though) so I'm a little torn. I'm wary of mystery supplies, I very rarely even enter giveaways because free supplies still take up space and I'm picky, so paying for unknown items is risky. But like you, now I'm intrigued. And the salt water taffy was terrific. I meant to buy some. I was very confused by this because I thought you meant the new distress color! But I assume it was actual taffy.

Real salt water taffy by a company in landlocked Utah! I almost explained but I get too wordy. The new color is nice, too.

Not into pop-ups/3D’s like they showed last week, and have plenty of turnabouts that haven’t been used, so it’s a pass this time. But they do put on a terrific show. If it wasn’t so expensive I’d join again for the entertainment value.

I had a lot of fun with them last year, but I get more stuff for my money with Crop and create cardmaking event. And I like how we make 3-5 cards with the same stamp & die set. And its a 3 day cardmaking marathon! I'm thinking to take a 1/2 day off on Friday so I can start playing earlier.

I know you’re a speedy card maker but this time Friday looks like a marathon.

I think concord and 9th puts on an awesome event and Greg the owner is hilarious. That being said I have a ton of their stuff I barely use and I still haven’t done the projects from the Christmas event from last year.
I have decided I love events but I’m only doing them with companies I’m obsessed with such as pinkfresh, lawn fawn, and the crop and create event because there is usually so much stuff to love from so many vendors. I still do stamp joy because I enjoy that event a lot too but by the time I’m done with all of these events it takes up a lot of my time and $$.

I am going to sign up tomorrow. Like you, scrappinheather, I haven't done the Holiday one yet, but summer is a much better time for me. That weekend, so far, is clear. Last year's camp was so much fun and really jumpstarted my cardmaking again. I need that feeling again. I'm happy that the products won't be camp related.

After seeing this I don't feel bad that I'm not planning to sign up. Hopefully I will still feel this way later too. I love the turnabout stamp and the cake die, but I have very similar stuff for the rest. I would love to attend the fun but without the box. Maybe they should just offer that for people who attend the last time for a small price 😂. www.instagram.com/reel/Cba0PWJJUzF/?utm_medium=share_sheet

I wonder if it could be modified for something other than a cake - like how Jennifer McGuire modified the pop-up hooray (which I wouldn’t use) in her video for the SCT event.
