I'm going to be in the Orlando area and going out to the villages and Ocala. Are there any scrapbook/stamp stores along the way? I saw one online in Tampa, but that will be too far of a drive.

There used to be a wonderful scrapbook store near Tampa, but it closed a couple of years ago. As far as I know, there aren’t any scrapbook stores left in central Florida. There is a store down in Lakeland, looks like it is still open. I haven't been in a few years, but it had nice selection when I went. Just not great hours. It would be ~hour south of Orlando, more if you are farther north or go when there is I4 traffic. www.violettesscrapbookstore.com |

I'd call to see if Violette's is still open. There is nothing listed on their calendar, events or classes pages and their Facebook page hasn't had an entry since October.

I miss the days of finding a scrap store almost everywhere you went.
