I only have 7 or 8 sets, and they are stored on 5 x 7 pieces of magnetic vent covers and put in plastic photo holders. I keep them in the drawer with my small alphabet stickers so I remember them when I go to pull out something for a title.

I store them the same as all my dies, on a magnetic sheet in a stamp pocket. (In alpha order of course!)

all of mine are QK and are stored in a QK zippered binder (which probably tells you how long it has been since I bought alpha dies, lol)

I use some magnetic vent covers where the magnet is a little stronger than the vent covers you can get at Home Depot and then put those in a pocket from SB.com. But I would be ok using the Avery Elle ones as well.

All dies are on magnet sheet in an Avery Elle pocket. I got some strong magnetic pages online from some industrial supplier, I think it's a lot thicker and stronger than the vent covers.

Thanks for your responses. GiantsFan FurryP joblackford - What size of storage pockets do you use for alpha die sets, especially for those with large (1.5") letters? TIA.

I have all of my dies, alpha or not, on these magnet sheets. Each sheet has its own envelope from scrapbook.com, and they're all housed in a clear box. I also labeled each envelope with a removable sticker label from one of my favorite planner sticker stores.

Since I'm a card maker I don't buy letters that tall. The largest I have are 3/4". You could try the large pockets that fit 6"x8" stamp sets or use two magnetic sheets back to back in a regular sized pocket. These are the large pockets I bought from Amazon. As an aside --> These large pockets are also what I use to store background stamps and stencils in. I just cut the flap side down to down to 6-3/4" so they are square.

I have them in 2 places. The small ones are in their original packaging, stuck to the cards with that snotty adhesive. The oversized ones are on vent covers. I'd like to stick the oversized ones to cards as well, (the vent covers are heavy when I'm shuffling through a stack of them to find what I'm looking for,) but I don't know what kind of adhesive to use. What's an adhesive that remains full bodied, flexible, and tacky?

I have some alpha dies that tall but they are skinny so I can fit all the letters and numbers on one side of a 6x8-ish sized magnet sheet (mine were letter sized). I have them in the extra large Avery Elle stamp pockets, they're listed as 6 3/4 x 9 3/8" and that's the size I use for big stamp sets too. Pocket pages meant for 6x8 albums might work too if you have easier/cheaper access to those.

Thanks for your responses. GiantsFan FurryP joblackford - What size of storage pockets do you use for alpha die sets, especially for those with large (1.5") letters? TIA. For alphas only I use these products: 7x9 storage pockets from sb.com. (correction: 7x10 These magnets: thick vent covers
I like that I can cut them to the size I need. Mostly I cut 6x8, but if I need it to be 6 1/2 wide to fit all the alphas, I can do that. They have gone up in price since I bought them, but if I needed more I would buy them again. They are thicker than the ones you can find at Home Depot, so there is no bending and losing the dies going on. For me, I found the 6x8 3/4 pockets were a little too snug for putting the sheet in. Sometimes some letters would slide off. ETA: With the magnets I listed I would not hesitate to use the Avery Elle pockets I use those for everything else. I just happened to have a 7x10 pocket because I had bought a combo pack, so I bought more of those.

I have them in 3 places. It’s not ideal, but I have 3 kinds of alphabet dies and it was the best option. With over 100 fonts, I’m not going back and reorganizing them!
My QK 4x8” dies are in an old CD organizer binder, my 2x2” does are in some small little drawer units that I found at the Container Store, and then all of my cookie cutter dies are on magnetic sheets in QK binders. All are in alphabetical order by the font name.
I have a set of cards where I have samples of each font. That’s what I use to decide what font I want to use and then pull from there.
