Bottom row, between the present and the hand, what is that?? I have no idea!!! My first thought was toilet paper or paper towel... it's definitely not clear to me.

Looks like a planner. it has a pen loop on the upper right, and the little string on the bottom left are page markers.

I think that’s a journal or planner, as if looking at the cover. It looks like an index tab at the top right, with an elastic band around the book.
eta: pen loop makes more sense than index tab.

I had the same puzzlement over that one! I also thought it looked like a towel. I guess a planner makes sense, but I don’t see it.

I see that when it's rotated, but that's the only item they don't have "right side up" on that set. It seems to be the same size all around, so it was just weird that it was the only one funky. Planner is definitely a good call.

It’s a traveler’s notebook. The line across the middle is the elastic band that keeps it closed.

Thanks everyone! All the little things jutting fro the various sides really threw me. I, too, initially thought of paper towels or TP, but the pen loop and other lines didn’t really line up!

Does Everyday Explorers ever have sales? Looking at some of their prompt stamps but not sure I'd use them enough to justify the price. If they were on sale though....

I think Christine does a BF sale and maybe an anniversary/birthday sale. The sakes are not usually that great, unless you like grab bag deals, then stamps can be got for $5 or so, but they will likely be the ones that weren’t popular and didn’t sell well.

Not very often, her stamps are unique though. I just buy a few at a time to help my wallet.

I got a bunch during a sale in August 2021. Mystery stamps were $9.75 each and there were some grab bags available as well. I don't really buy her stamps, so I wasn't worried about duplicates. I felt pretty good about what I received, but I'm not sure I would do it again.
I was a little sad that I got the cat parent stamp instead of the dog one though.

Thanks guys. I guess I will wait to see what sales are offered for BF since it’s only a short time away. I don’t *need* the prompt stamps, I just like a few of them and think that they’d be helpful for PL.

But I love her prompt stamps. I also started buying her prompt stickers because it’s been quicker to get projects done. I think the prompt stamps will be more useful than you think!

I might add them to some paper and make a small embellishment to put on a photo. Or put it strategically on a journal card and just journal about it. Nothing crazy. Journal cards with the little block of color or the 1/3 white band work well. Or a white rectangle backed by a full patterned card (and I put the prompt at the top or left and journal.)

I bought a couple "mystery stamps" at her sale before & they were things that didnt apply to me at all... like Disney land or cat stuff, etc. Seems like the mystery stamps are always the very themed ones.

Texas Scrap, I use the stickers just like the stamps. I think you can barely see the edges. I have done project life cards and scrapbook pages.

I really love the format and size of the mini books but I really, really dislike the jewel tone colors that are used every single month. There was a black & white one last year that I loved and was hoping to see another one like that or at least in a different color palette.

I don't feel like that stamp set is unique enough to justify the $19.50 price. There's a lot of planner stamps out there with those types of icons.

I am interested in the January mini book. The "this year I will" theme is really interesting. I can't afford a subscription. It is $64 CAD with shipping for one kit. That already makes me a little nauseous.
I have a few questions if anyone can answer them: 1) Do the kits sell out before non subscribers can buy them? 2) Do you find the kits is a good value? Does everything get used? 3) Do you need other supplies to complete the book? 4) I don't have an ink pads, so is there a favourite or recommended black one?
Thanks for any help. As you can see I am trying to convince myself it is a good idea. I will probably cheap out and get the digital version.

If you are willing to wait they do let international subscription customers bulk post a few subscriptions at the same time to save postage costs - see the subs faq section 😁 I’m not a fan of the colours in the kits but I did get the only b&w kit they did, I liked it and used most of it but added other things (that’s the way I am though i use what I like more than what’s in the kit!) I bought this kit in a sale they had during the year as I don’t sub, I’ve noticed they usually have a small amount of stock of each kit in these sales but amounts aren’t guaranteed esp for the more popular themes
